“The one and only poke shop in Union City, they have a good variety of choice with servers who are super helpful and have great customer service. The owner was really nice as well and took time to help me pick out the right items I wanted. Highly recommend getting their salmon and spicy tuna, as the salmon is super fresh and always has the right fat to meat ratio (nice white lines). They even have a community wall to put post it notes and cute lego minifigures! Would love to see some polaroid photos too for atmosphere and string lights. Prices range from around 20 to 23 for a medium or large bowl, you just need to get as many toppings as you like to get your fill.“

“The ladies here were awesome! I was Short change I had to run back to my car with a line full of people they just put my transaction on hold. Then when I got back into to finish paying and went to go walk out the door I dropped one of my plates which shattered and went everywhere and instead of the manager or the employee being rude both of them laughed it off made me feel totally okay about it which I still don't feel okay about it the manager then cleaned it up while the other girl made me another bowl was an entire line behind me. I can't remember the girl's name I did ask for it though and she was so willing to give it to me however I give this place five stars for the customer service alone they were both really awesome also it was my birthday and neither one of those girls knew that and they really made my birthday.“

“As soon as you walk in you notice the cute interior. I love the aesthetic of the tables and vibe feels similar to mom and pop places I've been to in Japan except the lighting is nicer here.

Pretty orderly service, s/o to the one person waitress running the counter and tables and one person in the kitchen.

Foodwise, place smacks. Been here 2 times in the last 2 years. The quality of dishes I got are on par with overseas both times. Got the kaarage uson set and tofu soba. Mild flavors, but I love that nothing is over-seasoned it's just right imo.“

“This is a great Japanese restaurant. We had a great time. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. You can sit at wooden tables with chairs or sit on a mat at authentic Japanese style tables. I highly recommend this restaurant for fun casual dining or for a romantic date night.“

“Order for two. Medium size bowls. Tuna and salmon. Clean and simple. Fresh ingredients and clearly easy to order. Straight forward and efficient. It was a light meal, but filling. The sauces were not overly powering the fish or the entire dish / bowl. Very balance.“

It was a little confusing how to order. I just grabbed a set bowl they had. I'm not picky about food and I enjoyed every bite.

I do wish the space was cleaner. As a business owner I didn't always have the cleanest spaces and I recognize that in hindsight and this is kind of the thing that even if you didn't want to dine in, sticks out like a sore thumb

That's why often I take photos of my reciept and the bathroom of spaces for my reviews.

Poke for thought.

I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. For me it is good. They were generous with their toppings. I asked for medium spicy but it didn’t taste spicy at all.

I also tried to taste Tonkotsu Ramen and Pork Ribs Ramen which my friends ordered. They were alright. They’re not as flavorful compared to the other ramen houses. (Well, it’s just my opinion tho.)

The wait time is decent. We didn’t wait too long for our orders to be served. Well, i guess we came when it’s not rush hour because there’s only us there. 😅 But when we were about to finish with our meal, the place was almost full.

The servers are also nice.“
