Love this place! Delicious food and great customer service
Friendly service and delicious food give it a try when you are in the area.
Love this place! I always have the shahi paneer atleast once a week. They easily serve the freshest paneer in the Bay Area. The new owner is also very kind and has great customer service. I definitely recommend for anyone who loves great Indian food. 10/10
We ordered chicken biryani and chicken pakora. And OMGGG!!! Chicken was rotten , tasted so bad. And even the pakora looked like it was out from biryani not real pakora. ? waste of money. Me and my son had stomach flu after that.
Wow! Excellent authentic Indian food in Union city. Ordered naan bread, tandoori chicken & two curry dishes. Tasty!
Great food, and excellent service.
After moving from South Bay to East Bay, I thought I would never taste good Indian food.Happy to prove me wrong after experienced Spice Up Kitchen. The owner is kind and attentive. The food from appetizers, entrees and special naans are superb in the next level.Always fresh ingredients and dishes made from scratch as I could tasted. Aromas, contrast of textures and flavors play in harmony. This is a truly gem and made me a regular customer. I can’t imagine myself going elsewhere to get better Indian food.
STAY AWAY! This place served us rotten food. We ordered, via DoorDash, prawn biriyani from this place on 06/16 for lunch. And I am not kidding, the prawns were ROTTEN. it smelled so bad, we immediately threw the entire pack. Called the restaurant and the person on the phone yelled saying “go report to the health dept, take refund”.
Warning, my room mate ordered Dordash food yesterday evening (June 07th 2021) from this restaurant and got food poisoning AND was vomiting blood as well !! ? AVOID AT ALL COST!! Alameda county Health department was informed as well.
I used to be a regular customer here.. I can say, they have good food but now worst customer service. I went to the store to personally place an order. I was sent out saying he has "too many orders" to even consider mine.Might as well close the store if you dont want to entertain anyone inside the restaurant. They just lost a local loyal customer. Their loss, not mine. The best way to avoid that harsh and uncaring tone is to order online and avoid making contact with the owners. I won't eat here since angry mood = angry food.

This is the first negative review I have ever given. We ordered over the phone and he cut the phone abruptly. I thought there is some confusion and went inside and asked for the order. I was shocked to see the owners tone when he said he won't take such a small order. I said he has the right to refuse service but there is a way of saying that and his tone went even worse. Pathetic behavior. Food could be good or bad but I have never seen this arrogance from any business owner. Not sure how can this business survive.
Far from what the name of dishes have been named.not anywhere close to indian food to taste of minimum standard. save your taste buds.
Service was pretty good.. food was freshly prepared. We tried malai Kofta and tandoori paratha.. both tasted nice..They also gave complimentary Kheer as a first time customer to us.
Super fresh and hot naan, rich and creamy curries. Tried aloo and onion kulcha, malai kofta and saag paneer...Will definitely recommend.
Amazing Food! Highly recommended.
