It was taco Tuesday. We had to wait for around 45 min to get our meal. We got the birria and taco. None of them had any flavor even after drowning it with the salsas.

:) Definitivamente regresaríamos a Tacos Papo. --We just finished eating at Tacos Papo, me for the first time, and we loved it a lot. The tortillas were really crunchy and the meat was tender and flavorful. The service was fast and José Flores helped us a lot. He served us and was very nice, funny, and attentive. Even though the place is under construction, the space and the ambiance are very clean and it's an inviting place to eat and enjoy. We would give 6 stars if we could! :) We would definitely come back to Tacos Papo.Gracias a José Flores!-Nicole

Pretty authentic food and it's actually good! Expect it to be busy on taco Tuesdays and pretty much any day at dinner time, but worth the wait. There are not too many places in the area as good as this one. Even some of the staple Mexican joints nearby have gone downhill over the years but so far, Tacos Papo has delivered on service and taste, so let's hope it continues! Let's not use fillers in our meats or cheap out on portions. Add this to your list of Mexican food spots!

Standard Mexican spot with good prices and quantity of food. It gets overly crowded on Taco Tuesdays, sometimes over run by High School kids. You can see a steady flow of all faces of people picking up, dining and lining up to order. Service is pretty fast and friendly. And you can always find parking. I love their salsa verde.

One of my favorite food are tacos and this is my spot to go for some BOMB tacos. I'm a regular customer here and everytime It's a chef kiss. They have a really good deal for Taco Tuesday and if you pay in cash they give you a discount. Nobody can beat that price for taco Tuesday. My favorite meat here it's Tripa and Asada. Their quesabirrias are flavorful and the consomé always on point. Burritos are exceptional and breakfast menu it is as well. This is place it's not expensive at all and you get really good food. Everyone that works there is friendly. I wish there were more tables to dine in but it's fine, if there's not table place a to go order.

Came for the quesabirria tacos and the fish tacos and left feeling full at satisfied. Each taco was pretty big, like twice the size of a street taco so it was filling. The fish was fried pretty well and had slaw and a spoonful of salsa on top. It was also pretty tender and the salsa gave it some flavor. Speaking of flavor, the quesabirria was packed with it! It was loaded with tender meat and cheese. The consume was pretty light compared to other ones I've had and not super thick and heavy. The meat itself was tender and the shell was fried well so it didn't get super soggy when dunking it in the liquid. Overall pretty solid for the size and price.

So my husband Used To love this place. He has his own business and often times comes here to buy food for his workers; spending plenty of money here buying everyone Menudo. He is a very big fan of the food, but since he's a businessman as well he is not a fan of the way they conduct customer service.Last night he convinced me to try this place he's been talking about,so I agreed and we ordered food there around 6 PM.I originally was craving red enchiladas, but he called me once he was ordering inside to let me know they only had green enchiladas. I decided to change my order and told him to order me three tacos with everything;including cheese and sour cream...& salsa verde.Clearly, I was on the phone during the time he was ordering the food and I heard him tell the young lady who was placing the order to add cheese and sour cream. The reason why this became an issue is because I do not have cheese or sour cream at my house at this time, which is why it was important when I ordered it.Plus, we're not even from the east bay so by the time we made it back home across the Dumbarton bridge to the peninsula.... Opening my plate of tacos at home was very disappointing to find them plain with no cheese and sour cream. This killed my appetite because I wasn't even craving tacos to begin with. Before even considering taking a bite, I immediately called the restaurant and requested to speak with the manager. The young lady who answered and probably took my order, asked what was I calling about and I told her to complain about my order. And after waiting about four minutes later, I was finally able to talk to the manager. She said she was the owner and apologize, and I thanked her for being understanding to the situation. But once you have an issue as an owner, you have two options: the first one would go with the original saying that we all know from the beginning of time that "The customer is always right" & and choose to fix the issue.Or you can discredit the customers complaint, and choose to be right yourselves, and not fix the issue. At the end of the day the owner chose not to fix it.Surely, after speaking with the cashier that took our order, which most likely lied and said, we never mentioned adding sour cream and cheese.(even though I was on the phone with my husband when he ordered the food and heard him myself)Because the cashier did not charge us for it,The owner basically took her side and believed her worker over the customer.Like I said, in the beginning, this is one of my husband's favorite place to eat whenever he's in the area.It is NOT in his best interest to lie about a place he loves coming to.But him knowing the truth, and hearing the owner, refusing to take accountability, or fix the issue was an immediate turn off.And he basically told her he will Never Ever come back to this place again because of the way they conduct business is unacceptable. I even mentioned to the owner in the beginning of the conversation that I was ready to write a yelp review and she still chose to handle Customer Service this way.To the owner, I'm sorry for your loss of a great customer. Also, we will be telling all of our friends and family,And also posting a story on our Instagram to ensure nobody ever has to experience a horrible customer service like yours again!Any business that chooses to believe their lying cashier over a devoted customer does not deserve our money! Thanks for responding & twisting the story to benefit you & your company.I have no interest in going back-and-forth with you..And I'm definitely not intimidated that you responded at all.I love the extra details (lies) you inserted to support your lying cause. How em I rude? Did I use profanity in our conversation or did I just hit you with the facts?I said I would write a review about my experience, here you are saying all these extra things I did NOT say.I'm stand on what I said & we're Not coming back. One thing I do not appreciate is people lying on me,Just admit that you guys were wrong and c
