The vibe in this place is nice but was not impressed with much after that. I will admit that we had a great waitress who was really nice, helpful and attentive during our stay. They make the guacamole in front of you and she was really nice and the guacamole was some of the best I have had in a restaurant. The food was mediocre. I think they could have had some seasoning to the food. It was very bland and I have had better beans from a can. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are coming for the drinks and guacamole.

Came to universal studios and wanted some Mexican food. This spot did not disappoint. The steak in my quesadilla was amazing. Seasoned well. So yummy. Highly recommend. Beautiful restaurant.

I order carnitas, but a part of carnitas was burned.

Fun place to visit while at Universal Studio and Citywalk! Servers excellent! Food was authentic and favorable. Portions were good-sized. Valet park if you are only going for a meal.

No idea where the complaints about service come in, our server Hector was amazing. We stopped in twice around lunchtime on our trip and the food and drinks were delicous. Attentive service and immaculate vibes on the outdoor patio. A great stop in for some Mexican flavors at CityWalk.

The Ambience and drinks make up for the bad food. If you’re Latino and you enjoy authenticity, don’t come here. If you want to grab some drinks and appetizers this is it.

This is a decent Mexican restaurant. It is over-priced for what you are getting, but that is to be expected next to a theme park. Our service was great, and the portions were perfect. They were nice enough to try and go dig up some ketchup for my youngest in the back of the kitchen.

Our experience here was incredible. Our server Hector was so helpful, and friendly. He made our dining experience so pleasently easy. He recommended putting Birria on our nachos and it was absolutely delicious. He sat us by the kitchen and it was fun for my child to watch the servers quickly get their orders out and see the yummy prepared food get placed under the heat lamps. Antojito’s will definitely see us here again.

Don’t recommend. — Won’t punish the server, but the kitchen should step it up. Food was cold — the least anyone could do is apologize, but even management did not do that, all he said was “we are heating it up.” Also, 6+ includes 18%, but they would not remove it since we were 5 a had a child at the table.

Upon arriving at the establishment, I was pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the decor, particularly the booths, was aesthetically pleasing. The background music, consisting of traditional Hispanic melodies, further enhanced the overall atmosphere.

However, the service left much to be desired. There was a significant delay in being attended to by the wait staff, approximately 10 minutes, and the subsequent wait time for our food to arrive was also quite lengthy. It is important to note that chips and salsa are not complimentary, and are instead offered at an additional cost of $4.95. The chips were homemade tortilla chips, accompanied by a flavorful tomato salsa that provided a pleasant spiciness. I highly recommend this salsa.

The quesadilla was a reasonably sized portion, neither too large nor too small, although it was somewhat overpriced for its contents. The guacamole served with it lacked flavor and was in need of salt and lemon.

I ordered the chili relleno plate, and while the chili itself was quite enjoyable with its well-balanced flavors, the accompanying rice was unfortunately very dry and hard, lacking in taste. The beans were also undercooked and still hard. The birria tacos were extremely dry and lacked any discernible flavor, akin to a microwaved version of the dish.

In conclusion, based on my experience, I would not recommend this establishment. The service was lacking from our server, and the quality of the food was subpar, the server never returned my change or receipt, The restroom was a mess, and I will be returning to re-review this restaurant to see if it has improved from my last review.

Kid-friendliness: They provide a children's meal.

Wheelchair accessibility: They provide wheelchair accessible tables and restrooms.

Hector waited our table and he was great. He was attentive and anticipated our needs. I had friends visiting from Michigan and Texas, both were skeptical of the food and were not sure if they wanted to eat, but Hector was patient, interactive and took the time to describe the menu options, he even brought a sample of a spicier salsa since my friends commented that the salsa was good but not spicy hot enough for their liking. The Birria sopa was sooo good!!!! and the birria tacos were amazing. Hector made our experience pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you Hector for your excellent customer service, we need more people like you.
