Our server who made the initial contact and took our order could have been a little bit more patient with us figuring out what we wanted.

Price / food value 3 out of 5 Service was good 30$ for a bowl just pasta doesn't make sense

Treated my Father, an Air Force Veteran and retired First Responder, horribly for asking to redeem the offer of a complimentary meal on Veteran's Day. When asking which section of the menu is valid for the offer, Julio, the waiter told him he must pay for his own beverage when we had not even placed an order for beverages. The tone was demeaning and curt and he wanted to be sure we understood the offer was for one thing and one thing only. Trying to embarrass my Father was rude, uncalled for and unacceptable. The waiter tried to provide as little service as possible, but he took great care of other tables. The Manager tried to make as little eye contact as she could to avoid us. If the employees at Buca have a problem honoring a company promotion they should address the issue with the company and not take it out on customers. Anytime we are fortunate to partake in an offer, we always leave a tip consemurate with the pre-discounted amount, not today, he deserved nothing which is exactly the service level he provided. Shame on Buca employees for treating a Veteran this way. It was disrespectful and unforgivable!

It has been awhile since we ate at a Buca restaurant, and we were so disappointed. We remember the food being large portions and able to share. I don't know if this is an example of "shrinkflation" or they changed their business model, but the portions of food were so small compared to the prices we paid. I would never return to Buca. I am so sad about this!

We had a very nice evening. The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. Thank you for a great evening.

Our table was prepared and ready on time to celebrate our youngest son's birthday. The manager and host were very pleasant and hospitable. Our server, Moises, was incredible and the best. Our food came out hot, glasses always filled with water, dessert to celebrate my baby & coffee was hot hot just the way we love it. We had the best dining experience for my baby's 16th birthday.

Moises was the best server ever. He serenaded me with his love for Italian food and knowledge of drinks like a lover worthy of a Shakespeare play. Now I write this review to pass this gustatory legacy onto you. Go forth with that knowledge and triumph the Big Boca plate.

Moises was fantastic and made the family dinning experience outstanding!! I cant say enough about his joyful presence it was our first time coming here always wanted to eat here everytime where at universal but never get to. Anyways stop by try the carbonara it's amazing!

⭐️⭐️The hostess service at the entrance could be improved — they weren't very friendly. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti with Meatballs, but the sauce was too watered down.

Stopped for dinner here after our visit to Universal Studios Hollywood.
Great Atmosphere and great service, no doubt.
The portions? Hearty.
We ordered the Lasagna, Chicken Carbonara and a Sampler trio with Shrimp, Calamari and Cheese Sticks.
Everything was delicious but I couldn't help but notice the Lasagna to be way too salty. Not sure if it was the sauce itself but it was very noticeable indeed as that was the one dish that everyone had less of.
Anyhow, great restaurant and great vibe.

Excellent service and festive atmosphere. Chicken Marsala and garlic bread oh so awesome but high prices compared to their other locations. Would love to see a rewards program and more offers.

Super excited to get the kitchen table based on past experiences at a different location. Told the birthday boy how fun it was going to be - 11year old. However, the kitchen table at the Universal City, was incredibly disappointing. The kitchen staff did not interact with us at all, they seemed annoyed with us for attempting to interact with them. Our waitress was very sweet and tried, but the kitchen didn't want to have anything to do with us. Food was okay... calamari was over cooked, the other items were good (eggplant parmigiana, spicy rigatoni and prosciutto chicken). If we come back, we won't be asking for the kitchen table again.
