Relaxed, delicious, and sunset worthy spot after a long day in LA. Salads were healthy and well balanced. Easy to split as well! Service was lovely and live music set a chill vibe to sunset. Highly

For starters are server Tony was FANTASTIC! He was personable, funny, and was quick with every request we had. The patio heaters were turned on which made the cool evening comfortable. The food was good only complaint was my steak I ordered medium rare and it was almost well done. Luckily it still melted in my mouth and tasted good. The only thing that wasn't good was the baked Alaska, for $26 it was disappointing.

Interesting place. I would recommend going if you are staying at the Hilton LA/Universal City but not if you go just to Universal Studios. If you are not staying at the Hilton, be prepared to pay for parking. They validate, but then you still have to pay $6, and it is not great (hotel parking at the Hilton). Anyways, the food was good and the wait staff was exceptional. It is located in the roundabout of the Hilton drop off/loading area for check-in. They do offer valet for $20 for the first hour with a maximum of $60; it has a pop-up restaurant feel. The structure is not permanent and open air, so they do have many propane heaters. Unfortunately, the restroom is in the hotel lobby.

Missadventure

The manager of the restaurant was wonderful and bent over backwards for us. We had a party of 17 for a 50th birthday. They said they were going to set us up outside as we requested, but they ended up just putting us inside, which was a bit dangerous because several of the people in our party have serious health conditions (which we explained multiple times). The waiter, Ryan, could't have been more annoyed before everyone even arrived. His attitude was unacceptably poor, and he should be reprimanded. A woman in our party had a bad leg, and had been to the ER the night before because she wasn't able to walk, and was in a lot of pain (which she explained to him). She asked to temporarily sit at another table until the event started, and Ryan gave her an attitude, telling her he didn't want to "clean up after her," and that she was not allowed to sit. Meantime, they had no other reservations that night and the place was totally empty. I was nice, polite and patient, yet Ryan still managed to roll his eyes at me at least half a dozen times, made demeaning comments about what he called "my vision," and nearly everyone at the table came to me after the event to tell me what a jerk he had been to them. Ryan is clearly an unhappy person and takes it out on his clients. He then came to me after the party and complained about his tip, lied and said he was only given 15%, when the restaurant automatically charges 18% to the bill. Based on his misinformation, I ended up overtipping him at 25%, which he absolutely DID NOT deserve. He should be reprimanded because one miserable person can ruin a really special night.

I would not suggest this spot for a family meal. The music was very loud, to the point where we could not hear eachother. The food was just okay. Descriptions weren't exactly what we received. The child's portion of noodles was laughable. Might be a fun vibe for drinks and apps with friends, but definitely not a family sit down spot.

Our food and service was fantastic. The ambience was calm and we loved the live music. Hailey was our server and she absolutely made our night! Will be back again soon.

The restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful! The location is nice, the live music was superb. Our server Hailey was probably the best server I’ve had in a long time. Kind, considerate and popped in just enough but not too much!

Do not go on special days. We had a reservation at 8pm on Valentine's Day. Got there around 7:45pm. We didn't get seated until 8:30pm (what's the reservation was for?). Waited 10 mins before our waitress came to the table to take order. Starters and entrées came but sign of our drinks. My cocktail finally came and the waitress said it's on the house. Food was great but the staffs couldn't handle when they got really busy.

We had the worst dining experience here. The management was almost non-existent, the heaters were so separated, leaving everyone feeling cold. The service was slow, the tables were unstable, there was no music, and since the restaurant was located next to a driveway, it was very noisy. The service was so bad that I can't even describe it. To top it off, they charged $95 per person for a dinner with only three courses, which is simply unbelievable.

I really enjoyed the food was great quality for the price you paid for that event three course meal. Although I will say that the servers looked overwhelmed and rushed. Wouldn't check up, seemed like they had a lot going on.

Warm oysters, dining 15 feet from valets flashing lights at drivers and honking as they drove the wrong way down a lamp, sat with finished entree plates for 30 minutes, credit card machines broke so waited an addition 30 minutes. Poor value and experience - would not recommend for Valentines

The view was not as picturesque as we were led to believe. Could barely see the twinkling city lights. The musician was good. Service was good. A little colder than I was expecting but we had to sit close to the door. We ate with our jackets on.

First time dining at this restaurant. Though it is outside the Hilton, the plastic tent was full of heaters and had a nice laidback vibe. Seating and tables (some with small fire pits in the center) were nicely arranged and comfortable. It was a cold evening but the heaters worked great to warm us all up and soon took off our coats. We were dining with our family (and small grandchildren). The staff was friendly and attentive. High chair and shuffled chairs were taken care of quickly. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was attentive while being unobtrusive. Live music being played was nice and not too loud. We could still talk and hear each other. We will be back again.
