The queue was super long between 2 and 3pm. Spent close to an hour waiting. The menu was limited in size, and it was a kind of chaotic experience. There was probably a hundred people in line or eating. I got the Apex Predator (smoked turkey leg with fries) and it was ok. The fries were boring and dry. When you take the price into account, it wasn't worth it. The napkins were horrible quality and kept sticking to my fingers because of the turkey leg grease, and you didn't get a proper plate because there are so many customers, so it was prone to go flying at any gust of wind.
First time going to Universal with my family and we were really excited but coming to this restaurant was the worst experience we have had and we had a terrible experience at Disneyland also. The customer service was beyond disrespectful, the food was expensive for the portion they gave us and to top it off the cashier was rude as well and when asked for Manager (Serena) they were no where to be seen until we left.
I already have low expectations for amusement park restaurants, so I am thoroughly whelmed by the food here. You get to eat in-between waiting in lines for a slightly expensive price. 5 tenders for the Pterodactyl Claw meal is not bad.
The food was good I recommend getting the Tyranno bite it's pretty good and good service. Also it was easy to find a seat to eat your food
Got the burger, was expecting something juicy and delicious for nearly $20/burger. Instead I got something that resembled a school cafeteria burger. The meat was thin, mealy, and had a weird texture. The fries were okay, nothing special. Universal seriously needs to upgrade their food quality.
The only decent thing about this place are the workers. They were great and very helpful.
Food overall was ok. But the service given by one of the employees (line servers) was less than welcoming. I am extremely disappointed by the servers attitude and way of handling our request for either a discount or a substitute for the item (coleslaw) they did not available. When we ordered the short ribs, it clearly stated it was served with fries and coleslaw. She repeatedly told us they just didn’t have any and that was that, until the other server told her it was okay to substitute the missing item with fries as we were requesting. I thought it was an obvious practice since I am paying full price but seemed to be an outrageous request by the way she glared at us and served the food. We were at universal studios 4/28/25 and the incident was between 2-3pm. I did not see a name tag.
Basically cafeteria food i bought the burger and it made mcdonalds burgers look gourmet worst 20$ i ever spent plus service sucked
I’ve been here a couple of times now. They’ve changed the menu sadly. It’s a lot worse now. I miss the chicken. Burger was fine I guess. Chili was a bit better. Four stars purely for nostalgia from my childhood.

First off, the universal studios food help page and email staff are great at helping confirm what can and can't be eaten. Reach out before your visit and they're more than happy to help accomidate to allergies. The Jurassic Cafe also has an allergen menu ready behind the counter on request. There are lots of options to be able to eat dairy free here. The food is decent, price is to be expected for in the park. There is mobile ordering available for when the lines are long.

Just don't... Sadly it was a waste of money. The food was comparable to a high school cafeteria. Overpriced for the quality, save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t come Here! FIRST, the burger I ate was pink on the inside, and the cheese wasn’t cooked! It’s like they only cooked it for 1 second. Next, the chicken leg looks cooked on the outside, BUT UNCOOKED ON THE INSIDE! Now lastly, the chicken tenders are very hard to EAT! So that’s my review! YOUR WELCOME!

•The Carnivore 3/5 (Fast Food/Theme Park Scale): my friend ordered this, it came with a decent amount of meat; unfortunately, it wasn’t very warm, yet it was overcooked, so the meat was a bit tough. On a good note, it had lots of pickles, and the BBQ sauce was smoky with the right amount of sweet. Portions were good for the price. Fries were good.
•Atmosphere: underwhelming considering it’s the Jurassic Cafe. It’d be fun if they had props from the movies and more dinosaur theming. On a good note, there was ample seating, tables and booths, and A/C to beat the heat!

Food was cold and tasteless. Queue over an hour with under 50 people in line. After the long wait, it was pointed out that no burgers could be ordered at the moment. Mobile ordering for the main courses was not possible.
