Unfortunately, I had one of the worse bobas I've drank in awhile at mini monster. After a long day at the park, I went to mini monster for some boba. I was debating between a milk tea or a fruit tea drink. I ended up getting the small taro with boba, light sweet and light ice. The drink was pretty in color. It had the classic purple hue however the taste was not good at all. The drink was way too sweet. I wonder if the sweetness level is higher here to adjust for the diversity of visitors at this location. The boba balls were also the worse balls I've had in awhile. It was slimy on the outside with a hard middle. I suspect the balls were undercooked and then left in the syrup for too long. I've overheard the cashier explain to a customer that their Thai tea is pretty sweet but they can adjust the sweetness level. If you're sensitive to sweetness, this boba joint might be too sweet for you.

Stopped here for a refreshing beverage after a long day of adventuring around Universal Studios and it was the perfect way to end a long day! I tried the Honey Lavender Lemonade with Lychee Jelly. I took a gamble with 100% sweetness and though it was a little sweeter than I normally would've ordered myself, it was not overly sweet. There was a lovely lavender flavor behind the lemonade, but I couldn't quite taste the honey. For a shop that's so adjacent to a theme park, the prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. Would recommend if you're looking to visit Universal!

I go to mini monster quite frequently & love their Thai tea. I'm usually helped out pretty efficiently, especially noticing that there doesn't always seem to be many employees working. Today I noticed that one of the girls (a girl with braids) working was being kind of rude to the other girl (a girl with bangs & ponytails) working there. When I went to pick up my drink the girl with the braids didn't even acknowledge me & was rude. I asked her if I could have a cup of ice on the side & she rolled her eyes at me & told me she couldn't give me one. I definitely felt bad for that girl with bangs for having to put up with her. Hopefully next time my experience will be better. Drinks are great though!

The best dessert prior to a Universal trip. The coffee oreo ice cream with a macaroon is delish. Service can depend on the day and how busy it is but the workers are always speedy. Cute photo opportunities inside too although the waiting area is small.

We wanted to get some boba on the way home from visiting the park. I thought for sure the prices were going to be high just due to the location but to my surprise they were good! The interior is small but nice. There are a few seats. There was a neon sign and a backdrop that was totally social media photo worthy. I got the Sunset Strawberry Lemonade with Mango popping boba. I'm not usually a big lemonade fan but it wasn't overpowering or too "lemonade-y" if that makes any sense. The blend of the lemonade with the strawberry was nice and refreshing and the boba was an excellent addition.

Daughter and I visited here, we got some pins, boba tea and macarons. She really loved it here and the macarons were very good as well as the boba teas. Will come back next time we come to visit!

Not the best boba I've ever had, but it wasn't terrible. Maybe it was just the flavor I selected, but it had a weird aftertaste. And the straw they gave you made it difficult to get the bobas through.

Their fresh coconut smoothie is really good. I also got a peach tea half sweet with boba and I enjoyed that as well. Service was good and it wasn't too busy.

The boba here was phenomenal! The employees there are always so kind, happy, and bring a nice vibe into this place. The boba I got was amazing! (Peach Tea) this place is fairly new, and I recommend it to all people! Boba lovers, and non-boba lovers. 10/10 would recommend!

HAD to stop by after an afternoon at Universal because I saw they had ice cream flan! My sister and I ordered one to share, and oh my it was heaven in a cup! It consisted of hand scooped ice cream (we chose vanilla) and topped with flan and a cute paper butterfly. The ice cream itself was not too sweet, and the flan was rich, creamy and soooo good! At $7.50, pricing was reasonable AND they honor the pass holder discount! Service was great and the ambiance was delightful.

I got thai tea boba. It was ok. The boba was a bit "hard", not really good compared to other boba stores. Their staffs are friendly and quick although the store is busy all time.

I believe that Mini Monster and Snow Monster are under the same chain of boba drinks and desserts. My partner and I decided to quench our thirst after watching a movie at the AMC inside CityWalk. We ordered strawberry milk and a blended matcha drink. The cool thing about this Mini Monster location is that they also sell their drinks in specialized cups, and there is merchandise such as pins, plushies, bags, and more. Overall, it's a nice addition to CityWalk for boba and dessert lovers.
