The chef wouldn't make my basic spicy tuna roll the way I wanted it... and they charged me for every sauce that I wanted. And wouldn't put sauces ontop of my sushi. Then when I tried to eat the roll it broke because he didn't make sure it was tight enough. And to top it off. He did not have spicy mayo. ? I won't be back sorry.

Took a gamble on a random sushi spot that had good reviews and it paid off. Sean the Chef was super friendly and treated us like we'd been coming for years even for our very first time. Made us cool off menu stuff and really enjoyed it!!

Looking for a quick review? Food stellar, service impeccable, and ambiance? If you're happy and well cared for, who cares?Ok here's the nuts and bolts. Came during lunch time. We thought, oh? It's a bit quiet in here. It was merely the calm before the storm. We were so shocked by the customer service we received! Absolutely amazing staff!!! So gracious, funny, interactive and genuine. Food was superb. The beau and I hate to put in special orders, we would rather see what the house can do, and this wonderful "hole in the wall" didn't disappoint! Food was so good, for someone that is usually a food picture taker, it was so good I didn't even snap one piece of evidence. (I'm so sorry!) Take the time to sit down and stay for a sec. The hospitality was so wonderful we felt right at home. A true gem we will return to over and over, I assure you.

Came in for Lunch with my wife. The food was amazing and the Chef/Owner helped us and knew what we would like and gave us excellent recommendations. Aside from the amazing food, I think the thing that won our hearts over was the service. We came in and sat at the bar and we were treated as regulars. We talked as if we knew the staff personally. You can tell the owner is a people person who genuinely loves what he does. The staff does an outstanding job as well at creating a clean and welcoming ambiance. Definitely will make this our go to spot from now on.

WORST Japanese restaurant I've ever been to! Was looking for a good sushi spot in the area. Discovered this place and thought we'd give it a shot. The first red flag was when we were given used paper menus that had soy sauce spots from previous customers. Second was when we saw clutter on the counters. This is clearly a spot for the locals since the 6 customers who were there all sat at the bar and were shooting the shit with the server and owner (aka sushi chef). As soon as we sat down, we felt so out of place with everyone looking at us. When I asked if they had a 2 item combo, they looked at me like I was crazy and the owner said we have whatever is on the menu. Then, when I asked if I could substitute something, he shook his head. He basically made me feel like shit for asking. At that point, I just wanted to get up and leave, but still chose to give them a shot. They gave us a salad which actually wasn't bad, but didn't like how it was room temperature. When I got my meal, the salmon was NOT fresh at all. And their rolls were small and couldn't stay together. And to top it off, the owner was drinking and taking shots with customers. This place had more of a dive bar atmosphere than a Japanese restaurant. In summary, this place is s*** hole. Food is not fresh and customer service is horrible. Enjoy the diarrhea you'll get after. We will NEVER go there again.

The sushi is amazing here. Shaun is the owner and the main sushi chef. All the sushi is always super good and fresh. He is a great person to talk to at the bar too!! The lady who helps you with drinks is also great. The service and food are top notch!! Highly recommend!!
