I had dinner here on Thursday evening. My credit card was charged twice for someone else's bill I've had such a hard time for anyone to get back to me. I don't understand why so difficult just to give me a refund or credit for the other charge I have a bank statement and I have my receipt and no one seems to care It shouldn't be so difficult trying to get a refund for a charge that wasn't mine. Error on the restaurants part and no one seems to care a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks. Not very happy

Allegro is an upland staple. The restaurant is no frills; charming without needing to be gaudy. Visited for lunch on a weekday, it's honestly a lovely environment. The food left a bit to be desired, but overall good. The soup was bland tasting but the chicken sandwich was tasty. I'm looking forward to going again and trying something different.

I would give allegros a 5 star service review, mostly because all of the staff and waiters including servers are respectful and mindful about their surroundings. If you rate allegros a low star service and rating review then I would recommend instead of doing that, visit allegros a few times each few months and try to meet all the staff so you could have a good relationship with everybody. If you are really concerned about the moderate quality for noise, just another day in each restaurant you visit. Sometimes the waiters might not get ur exact order because of the noise, but that is normal. If you are wanting to have food, I would recommend coming at 6-7:15 PM to place an order for dinner and a reservation once walking in or calling allegros. Most of the time, allegros takes atleast 1-2 minutes for you to be told by a worker in the front that there is a 30-60 minute wait time. Most of the time, it is either 30-60 minutes, at 6-7PM that is the causal wait time. After 7:00 PM, there is a wait time atleast 45 minutes to 1:30 hours. (Recommended for everybody and vegetarians)

I absolutely love this place! This is my third time coming and each visit has been consistently wonderful. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The food is always fresh and full of flavor never a disappointment. I’m especially obsessed with the Argyle Pinot Noir, it’s so smooth and delicious, easily one of my favorites. This spot has definitely earned a place as one of my top restaurants in Upland! Thank you Mimi and Aratzi for the excellent hospitality 💙

We had lunch at Allegro, but weren't given the lunch menu; only the dinner menu. I didn't even know they had one until the waitress mentioned it at the end of our meal. I was looking for something lighter and more affordable, since my mom was taking me to lunch, but there weren't those options on the dinner menu; only the lunch menu. I was definitely disappointed. One should be offered all the options. It sure works out for the wait staff though. Bigger bills mean higher tips. Not ok. As far as the food, it was ok. On my blackened salmon salad the salmon was cooked nicely, but the lemon dressing ruined the lettuce itself, so I only ate the fish. My mom and stepdad did enjoy their meals though. As far as the atmosphere, while we were there they had work going on outside, and somehow a bunch of smoke entered the restaurant, literally making it hazy inside the restaurant. I will not be rushing back to Allegro.

We sat inside and asked several times to have the shades drawn or to be moved. I even made a reservation the place was not busy. The sun was blinding. It was miserable. My husband and I are really busy and don't have a lot of time, so we tried to make the best of it and then the food was a crime! There was a pound of pasta but no sauce/gravy. Our host/server was less than gracious/nice. What a waste of our time and money

The food was delicious, and arrived in large portions. By the time we had enjoyed our appetizer, we didn’t have any more room for our entrées. But we were okay with that! We brought our leftovers home to enjoy later.
The servers were all very friendly and helpful. However, despite there being empty tables while we were there, we did seem to wait quite a bit at times to get a waiter’s help.
The atmosphere is nice. It felt authentically Italian. Cute, clean, and decently comfortable. However, it was a bit loud. We were able to hear each other, and my husband has some hearing problems so that does say a lot. All the same, it was loud.

Gotta love that fettuccine
Nice Italian restaurant in downtown upland.
I feel like their food is good, but not great. So overpriced for what you get. Sadly. I really want to love it, I do. However, I can't honestly say that I do. Service is better than their food imo, and that's shameful for how much you pay.
Service was slow but it was very busy for a Thursday night. They charge for bread which is a bit odd for an Italian restaurant. The food was excellent, however I ordered the house lasagna and somehow got baked ziti. Normally I would have sent it back but we had already waited about 40+ minutes for our food. The ziti was good with lots of rich ricotta in the sauce. Perhaps next time I can try the lasgna.
Clam fettuccini was good! Atmosphere is nice and friendly.
