The people there were not very friendly. I usually go to the one in San Gabriel. It's always a good time there. So I was visiting a friend and went to this one. They did make a point to make me feel like I didn't belong. It's a weird feeling to have from this kind of place but. The attitude spoke for itself.

I was only there for one item I couldn't find anywhere else (guanciale). But it felt really nice I wish I had a chance to try the deli sandwiches and bakery . It's far from where I live but I'm excited to go back and try everything out

Claro's in Upland is a must-visit, especially if you're a fan of authentic Italian fare. I stopped by on a busy New Year’s Eve afternoon, and the crowd was a testament to the quality of this place. The selection is outstanding, and everything is incredibly fresh. I tried a cold cut Italian sub and a meatball sandwich, and both were absolutely perfect. The flavors were spot-on, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. To top it off, the service was excellent, even with the holiday rush. Claro's is a true gem that’s well worth a visit!

We always order and pick up our Christmas Eve dinner sausage and rolls here every year! I drive from Rancho Cucamonga. The hot sausage is great, a perfect blend that is not too hot and has great flavor. You do hit some spots where it reminds you that it is Hot. The rolls are fresh and need to be eaten as they will mold if they sit on the counter too long which I assume is because there are none of the preservatives added like a store bought roll.🤤At this time of year it is crazy busy and they have tried many layouts to try and deal with the volume. This year they added a register for the pick up orders so you don't have to wait in 2 long lines! THANK YOU! They usually have a LIVE violinist playing Christmas music which is wonderful and CALMING! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a delicatessen with fresh meats, cheeses, breads, raw pizza dough, desserts, cooked meals, and a ton of other fresh served to the size you need, canned, and bottled additional items like olives, peppers, wine, and more.
Parking: At Christmas time it IS difficult to find parking. I parked in a busy wave and had to walk across the parking lot, but after being in there less than an hour I came out to a bunch of empty spots. Bad timing!
Wheelchair accessibility: It is very busy and tight in the store. Very difficult to move on 2 legs but I believe it could be accomplished. At a different time of year probably not a problem.
