Honto oishi ! The lunch menu is very affordable and the portions are good. Will definitely make Kuma Sushi a regular choice.

Walked in around 210pm November 1st, door was unlocked and was told on the inside that they were closed with no explanation. Guess I wont return since I dont know when they are open since hours of operations states its open. Maybe put a sign next time.

Short Mexican waiter is flat out rude. He will always get your order wrong and blame you for ordering the wrong thing. We stopped coming to this place a while back. There are better Japanese restaurants near by.

Terrible customer service and the food was disgusting. The restaurant opens at 5:00pm. We were the second party to enter the restaurant but the last party to eat dinner. I looked around and noticed everyone had their dinner served except us. When we finally obtained our dinner it was disgusting without any favor. We had to pour extra soy sauce in order for it to have some taste. Also, we were not done eating when they gave us the check. They checked us out prior to finishing our dinner. In addition, the restaurant had just opened and the bathroom were filthy. The toilets were clogged with paper and the seat had poop. Furthermore, the menus are so old it was falling apart. Never again, stay away from nasty food and horrible customer service.

Came here tonight with my husband, ordered our food and waited 40 minutes. When I asked the waitress how much longer food our food which was only 2 sushi rolls and a hand roll, she never came back to let me know or check on us. My husband finally got up and told her we’ve been waiting and just want to pay for our beverages. She didn’t even apologize and just said OK let me just cancel it. I honestly think she forgot to put our order in because everybody else was getting their food. I would rate the food but we never got it.

Today, for lunch, we took my uncle to Kuma Sushi in Upland. His birthday is tomorrow and this is one of this favorite restaurants. I've been dining here for years and the place never seems to disappoint.
We all ordered bento boxes. I chose the ribeye and the Katsu chicken with a side of ponzu sauce. The food was delicious. Everyone was happy, especially my uncle who ordered tempura shrimp and sashimi. For some reason, I ordered fried rice today. After thinking about it, I never do that here. Next time, I think I will stick to the plain old white rice. I love the fried rice at teppanyaki restaurants. This was... okay.
Both servers were very nice and quite attentive. The service was excellent.

It's fine. That's really it. It overpriced for average to small rolls, especially when they are all just California rolls on the inside and nothing creative. Two of us spent $100 and were still hungry when we left(and we are small people who don't consume a ton)

Their service is 2nd to none and the price point is super reasonable. My wife and I love this place. We highly recommend it.
Decent place. Prices were a bit high for the food but only by like $2 from most other places. Ordered their premium sushi and for $21 the roll was unimpressive. Presentation was lacking and so was the taste of the roll. Same for the other roll I ordered which was supposed to have “crispy onions “ but more like soggy onions. Maybe I should have went with their bento box. It did sound good on the menu. Nice clean place though and waiter tried his best but still service was lacking. Not sure I would come again.
The food was okay there. But I was very disappointed & disgusted when I got my appetizers & food. I got fried shrimps and I pulled out a black hair that was inside the battery. I let that go. When the waiter gave me my steam rice and meal. And there was another black hair on my rice, luckily the waiter seen it right away and gave me a new one. Them whem I was eating my katchu chicken, I felt a diam hair when I was chewing and got really disgusted. I'm never in my life eating there again!!!!. My mother in law end up getting sick after she ate edamamas with garlic.

we put in a order by phone. we get to the Restaurant . and we still have to wait til they cooked it !!! what's the point of calling it in,and they still to a long time to give me my meal !!!! That's ridiculous.I had to be somewhere at a certain time.That's the point why I called it in so it can be ready well so much for that careful when you call
