Have been here several times. The food is ok but the portions are very small. I was absolutely appalled to find that many of the dishes on this online menu are not actually not there. Far worse, it is outragous that the items shown on the menu here at $26.95 are actually all in thr mid $40s. If this is not false advertising, i do not know what is. Perhaps this was why the restaurant was not even half full on a Saturday night

I have eaten here about 3 times with my coworkers and absolutely loved it every time. It's a small restaurant but the employees are so kind and are very attentive! The owner is a great guy and always takes care of us. Also, I totally recommend ordering the soufflé!! I can't wait to go back next time with my friends and family (: I've also tried 3 different items each time I've come and enjoyed each! (:Pictured are: French onion soup and a ratatouille crepe.Video: The SouffléParking: There's is one parking spot in the front by the restaurant with a sign that says "for dine in customers at "Le Gourmet". Other than that, parking is free everywhere else!

Great find in the upland neighborhood. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The wine selection was appropriate for the food offerings. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

Going to be really honest… I was really excited to try this place out. On other sites, it was not clear how pricey it was. Each main entree is $48.95. Apps and desserts are around $15.The Bordeaux wine was amazing. I got the St. Emillion. 5/5We started with escargot and crab cakes. The escargot was great! 5/5 for sure. The lobster sauce on the crab cakes was flavorful, the crab cakes were ok. 3/5.I ordered the veal porterhouse special. Sounds like it would be a big piece, but it wasn’t. Came with mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans. The vela was drowned in gravy which was good, but really took away from the veal. My favorite part of the dish was the carrots. For the prices, 2.5/5My friend ordered the rack of lamb. Came with the same sides and same sauce, but thankfully less. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. 3.5/5We ordered the Grand Marnier Soufflé to share. It was baked well but we didn’t love it and only had a couple bites each. 3/5The service was outstanding.Overall the food did not meet our expectations, especially for the price.

The service and food was impeccable as usual. It was my son‘s birthday, and Le Gourmet called me just to tell me that they receive my comment to save my family (4) soufflés. That is excellent customer service in my book. Great food and experience as always.

As always food & service were excellent. The carrot soup was superb. My friend ordered the shrimp lunch & the shrimp were huge. She said the taste & presentation were both excellent. I had the lunch special Mahi Mahi. The fish was very good & the portion was large. All in all, we were very pleased. This restaurant is a true neighborhood gem.

Great food. You won't be disappointed bringing anyone here. Try their fish. It's unbelievable. Their soufflé is excellent and the waiter is very pleasant. I highly recommend.

Le Gourmet never disappoints. We always order the shrimp and escargot starters, and they are always delicious, as is the Grand Marnier Souffle! This time my husband had the Oso Bucco and I had the sword fish special. We are so glad we discovered this restaurant.

Great food. Our party had the steak with fries and the fries were the best ever! Chicken piccata swordfish with lemon, butter, caper sauce, lentil soup, and the best Grand Marnier soufflé ever for dessert. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding.

We gladly drive 25 miles especially on the 10 freeway is no sacrifice to always enjoy true french country cooking served at Le Gourmet. Excellent friendly service and diversity of dishes prepared as though Upland is just an extension of south France, is our reward. Not pretentious , as its in shopping center , nor is it expensive. This is a must try eatery.
