After waiting 45 minutes for a table, the table was not set, had to set the table myself( no napkins and silverware was not set. Just in a pile. Had to walk in to get crayons for my child who was alrdy upset with us sitting at the table for 15mins.(had to flag down a waiter). Other customers who were sat after we were had their orders alrdy as we were ignored. We’ve been coming here for years but after this experience, will be our last time coming. I was more shocked at the lack of service than disappointed. I guess they don’t think much of the locals

Dear new owner, you need to spend money on labor. You have to have enough staff to service your guest. Each waiter can only handle so much ground. To have breakfast and only get one cup of coffee and 50 minutes is ridiculous! This is not an isolated situation. The girls who worked there put their heart into their job, but they need more help on the floor! And the times I have been there I have watched the manager worrying about the decor and the music more than carrying around a pot of coffee to service the guest. This has happened too many times. You are the talk of the town right now, a couple months ago it was due to the appearance and the excitement of the atmosphere. Right now you are the talk of the town that the service is not getting enough attention and it’s because of the way it’s being managed, not because each waitress isn’t trying their darndest. You must have a wonderful atmosphere, enjoyable food, and outstanding service. This is coming from regular weekly guests.

Really cool diner style cafe with views of Mt Baldy and small planes taking off. Unique breakfast / lunch experience for the family. We had the chili relleno omlette and the french toast and it was fantastic. 100% would go again.

Couldn’t recommend enough! I have no words to say how happy I am to have found this spot. I took my bf for Valentine’s day since he likes planes. While we waiting for our table we where watching planes take off and come in.Service I believe name Janice was very welcoming, sweet and made our experience even better. All food look delish! I asked for Chilaquiles and I have to admit is the best I’ve had in the IE 10/10 we will be coming back!

This place went viral and has been busy all day. The estimated wait time was 1 hour, but we were seated within 30 min. Time went by quickly as we sat outside watching the planes take off and land. Perfect place for kids to see planes.
The country fried steak is AMAZING! Best I’ve had anywhere near here. The burger was good if you like plain cheeseburgers, but mayonnaise/ketchup/mustard in any combination would have made it much better. Ask about their new menu.
I had a waitress named Janice. It was packed and we didn’t get to see her that much, she was so kind. Like a sweet auntie that you only see once a year.

Wife and I used to frequent here. Tina and her staff were amazing and hospitable. We even went as far as having our wedding reception here. However, new management is far from welcoming. We left our Tom Ford sunglasses there and instead of the staff being helpful with my wife, she was greeted with rudeness. We understand it’s our fault about the missing items. However since then, we made multiple contacts with the manager in which it was left upfront for us. As Upland residents, we will not be coming back due to the lack of empathy and the overall personality change of the establishment.

I’ve dined at the cafe multiple times - always great! But, the “Lost and Found” sunglasses review(s) made me giggle. Perhaps if these sunglasses were so important it wouldn’t have taken 2 1/2 months for a “local resident” to take 5 minutes of your day to go pick them up. Just sayin’. No business should have to be held responsible for the “safe keeping” of an item that clearly doesn’t hold any real importance.
