Sunny side up eggs does NOT mean a thin layer of cooked white on the bottom, with an upper later of uncooked runny white and runny yolk. There's a technique to cooking the white and leaving the yolk runny, and they don't know it. A mistake is fine, but the waitress was rude and gaslighted me that this was a sunny side up egg. It was not. The hash was ok, more home fries than a hash really. My biscuit and gravy was cold, and the gravy was sweet; that was weird.
Denny's has better food than this.

Food is good. But don’t care for the menu. They have no French frys for burgers or sandwiches or fried potatoes with breakfasts. But the atmosphere is great!

Family and dog friendly. There's homemade comfort here from the staff down to the treats for your pet. It's a very popular place not just for the locals but the out of towners such as myself. Check it out.

one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly becomes your “how did I not know about this?” place. I came in for breakfast and left thinking, “Okay… so we’re coming back for lunch too.”
First off: the vibe is classic, cozy, and unpretentious—clean tables, a steady hum of regulars, and staff who greet you like you’ve been eating here for years (in the best way). Service was quick without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want when coffee is still doing its job.
Food-wise, everything felt made-to-order and generously portioned. The breakfast plate in the photo—eggs smothered in a bright, chunky salsa with beans and melted cheese—hits that perfect comfort-food zone: warm, savory, and surprisingly balanced. The salsa has real tomato-and-chile character (not that watery “red sauce” situation), and the beans are creamy enough to scoop up with every bite. Add the dollop of sour cream and it’s basically breakfast therapy.
Then there’s the breakfast sandwich + hash browns combo. The bun is soft, the egg is fluffy, the bacon brings the salt-and-smoke, and the cheese does what cheese is supposed to do: glue happiness together. The hash browns are the kind you keep “sampling” until you realize you accidentally ate half the plate.
And because it’s Molly’s Souper, you can’t not try soup—even at breakfast. The lighter broth soup (with carrot and veggies) is clean and comforting, and the creamy one in the little cup is rich without being heavy—perfect “I want something cozy but I still have a day to live” energy.
Overall: hearty breakfast, genuinely friendly service, and that rare feeling you get when a place is consistent and cares. If you’re in Upland and want a solid, satisfying meal that doesn’t try too hard, Molly’s Souper is an easy yes.

Been coming here once a week
First time experiencing a bad service
Felt rushed by giving us a box less than 15 mins after we got seated on top of that charged us for things we Never ordered. Like what I said we come here every week. We asked for the charge to be fixed instead they gave us a bigger bill. Just paid it. No time for drama just embarassing bec theres a lot of people just for the dispute. Its not the money its the principle, but you know what? I will exclude this place for my clients in tourism. Because after all we can all judge a book by its cover but we tip generously. not coming back.
Weather was great. Food had large portions. Service was friendly and quick.

Nice place to hangout for brunch. What used to be just a restaurant in a regular house, now they have expanded their seating area to the patio, backyard, and front yard. Typical American breakfast but with a faster service, more affordable prices, friendlier staffs, and just the right food portion. Their home fries and corned beef hash are YUMMY crispy.
