Dropped in on this restaurant without a reservation. Truly great experience. Excellent staff. truly delicious food. Wonderful cocktails. Honestly, the best fresh pasta I’ve had in several years better than what I’ve had at the Italian restaurants in most of SoCal. Little things were really appreciated. After cocktails, I wanted a glass of wine to go with my Branzino. The waitress brought me a couple of bottles and had me taste all of them before making a decision. Very much appreciated. Not the one thing to know is this place is quite pricey. So fantastic for a special occasion. Honestly no reason to travel into LA given how good this is! Will be coming back with friends from it off town just to show off.

The service at this place is top notch! The owner is very friendly, gives the restaurant a personal touch. We always order the piri piri chicken , it is such a savory meal. We’ve gotten drinks and oysters , we can’t get enough of this restaurant.

Today June 1st... Their lunch brunch was outstanding. Every dish was delicious, sea food to smoked bbq meats. Wine was non stop, mimosas top notch! Live music. Our group of 7 had a great time. Service was top notch by everyone. LETS DO IT AGAIN.

Above average taste with an extended wait and poor customer service. Some of their dishes are delicious, while others fall short of expectations. For example, the ceviche was solid—8/10—but their pizza was about 6/10 at best. Overall, though, most dishes were solid 8/10, and that's pretty good for a restaurant in Claremont (as opposed to LA). However, the hallmark of this restaurant is the slow-paced and incompetent staff. First, no matter the time of day, it takes forever for them to bring food, even if the restaurant isn’t that busy. When my party dined here for a late lunch, the restaurant was about 60% full, but it still took over 30 minutes to get our dishes after we were seated. So, only come here if you have a ton of time to kill.

Another issue is the staff. While some employees (the owner, for example) seem to know what they’re doing, others—well, not so much. One of the female workers couldn’t handle a simple reservation change request on phone call and had to report to two different employees to figure it out. What should have been a quick 5-minute phone call turned into a 15-minute ordeal with three different staff members involved. The same female employee continued to show her lack of competency in person when we arrived, leaving us hanging without a table until I had to ask her boss to get us seated.

So, next time I come here (though I doubt there will be a next time), I really hope they work on improving staffing and management, because I still see some potential. :)

This Spanish restaurant truly left a lasting impression. The food was packed with flavor—every bite was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, with staff who were attentive and made sure every detail was just right. To top it all off, there was live music during our visit, which created a vibrant and festive atmosphere. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to for special occasions. Highly recommend!

Nunos has the best food in the area. Most restaurants in Claremont Village are overpriced and insipid. Nunos is just 5 minutes outside of claremont with 5 star food. Excellent Italian and Spanish food. I highly recommend the Calamari paella, patates Braves, pasta Alfredo with guanciale, all excellent. Do not pass this restaurant up. A hidden gem in a desert of mediocrity.

I would like to preface this by saying we have been here multiple times and have came back because the food has been amazing but the service is impeccable.

We had the Bolognese Pasta and Thai Curry Cod.

Both of these items were more soupy than anything. The presentation of the food was immaculate however it fell apart with the taste. Both of these dishes fell flat and didn’t seem to have much salt.

I would have preferred the Cod to be salted more and the Thai Curry to be thicker so it can be put on the side of the cod. This way you can cut your cod and glaze the curry on the cod. Once they poured the curry over the cod, the breading absorbed it all and it became wet… all the crisp went away.

The bolognese just seemed to lack depth throughout the whole dish. Again, seemed to missing salt and the sauce needed to be thicker. Had to be one of the most soupy bolognese I have ever had…

Should you come here? Definitely.
Why am I leaving this review? Because I believe in honesty and transparency and I know they could fix this.

We definitely will be giving them another try. But the food was not worth the money today, unfortunately.
