I frequent Padua, especially for their sandwiches. It is very popular, so pick your time carefully or better, call your order in to save time. There were 16 people in line or waiting for food yesterday and I did not have enough time to wait 30-40 minutes. I will still go back as their food is excellent.

Very nice deli. A lot of good choices to eat and prepared food. The turkey sandwich i had was delicious. They just didn't have avocado to add to my sandwich.

This is the best place to pick up lunch and dinner. The sandwiches are fantastic and the grab and go dinner specials change everyday. We love the pasta and the Friday pizza options are delicious. I recommend parking in the public lot across the street since their parking lot is small.

All I can say is wow! The sandwiches here are absolutely phenomenal. I stopped by to grab a few for lunch, and every bite was packed with flavor. I also picked up some freshly baked bread, which was just as delicious. They make their own pasta in house, which I didn’t get to try this time but we’ll definitely be back for that! I also noticed they offer frozen meals, which I unfortunately spotted after I had already paid (next time for sure!). The store is clean and well kept, and both the cashier and the sandwich maker were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic lunch stop and a great experience all around!

What an amazing experience. We got some Italian potato soup and some fresh parpadella noodles. Fair prices and the food was absolutely outstanding!

I remember when they first opened... I had a bad experience and I stayed away for 3 years. The issue was the Counter Service in the bakery the Lady seemed irritated and impatient. So I took my business elsewhere.
I am happy to report that I have since returned and have to say their Italian Sandwich is one of THE BEST I have had in California since leaving Boston (over 30+ years ago) all the ingredients were fresh and that BREAD! OH MY LAAAWWRRDD so chewy and soft on the inside and not to hard on the outside. Truffle Brownies are nice, the selection of cheeses here makes this an convenient one-stop shop for those on this side of town. I also love their selection of cookies perfect for making up a dessert tray.
Whenever I am making a "housewarming welcome" basket I will come in and grab some of their San Marzano Tomato sauce, select one of the homemade pasta's they have and place a slab of Italian cheese to balance it all out.
BTW the counter service has greatly improved.

I’ve driven by this deli for years and wondered if it was similar to my favorite Italian deli in Gardena California called Giuliano’s and to my surprise the Padua Special is just like the Torpedo at Giuliano’s!! Everything in this place looks good can’t wait to try more items. Boy did I sleep on this place!

This is one of my favorite spots in Upland! They have a great variety of options - from deli sandwiches to pot pies - and the food is always so fresh. If you want desserts, they have an incredibly large selection of gelato, tiramisu, pastries, and more. You can also grab either Pauda-made or imported pastas and sauces if you need to restock. They get incredibly busy during lunchtime and the holidays, so I recommend coming before you get hungry.
