Food is amazing — great quality. Owner is so cool, he overheard it was someone’s birthday and gave them a cheesecake.

The first thing I noticed as we parked, is that they have outdoor seating which would be great for the spring and summer; I really like that… I’m from a Middle Eastern Arab background and I know Arab food and what’s good…I was so impressed with RISEN… first of all the wonderful hospitality of the owner who is also the chef and her generosity and sweetness!!
I heard about their falafel and I was not disappointed, delicious crunchy with a sprinkle of sesame seeds the way I like it…and also I was impressed with an array of desserts displayed as one walks in…especially the Baklava, the best ever I’ve had in southern California, just the way I like it, the right balance of sweetness and Fillo dough and nuts, delicious!!
Desserts are to die for you feel they are homemade and fresh authentic, just the right balance of sweetness and good fresh ingredients!! and then we ordered the meats… the Kufta ground beef, which is on a skewer and chunk meat on a skewer. Also chicken Shawarma with onions and Sumac herb sprinkled… We were so impressed with the freshness and tastes that we had to have a little bit of everything, and it was such a pleasurable experience all the way…. you won’t be disappointed when you go there🤗 there’s a variety on the menu that will impress vegetarians and non-vegetarians… all and all it was a pleasurable experience all the way around 😊 the atmosphere of the place is comfortable… you just feel like you’re having your meal at home. Comfortable parking clean bathroom…. can’t wait to go there again to see the chef again and impress my friends with the food that is very authentic fresh and delicious💕👌

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant today! The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The customer service was just as impressive. The cashier was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated how friendly and professional she was.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a lovely man who took the time to talk with me personally. They even treated me to some baklava, which was a wonderful surprise — and it tasted fantastic!
You can really feel that they care about their customers and take pride in the quality of their food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Best Mediterranean food in Upland. The most exciting part is they also have delicious baked goodies. I tried their San Sebastian Cheesecake and it was incredibly smooth, creamy, and delicious. 10/10

I tried this place out for the first time last night. The food was amazing. There were a few things that threw off my experience. One they’re unable to add feta to my Steak wrap, they said they have feta on other items, but they’re unable to add it to my wrap. The other issue was portion size Compared to the price. It was $16 for a wrap I could fit my fingers around. (Slightly larger than a wrap snacker.) the width of the wrap could nearly fit into the small cup of sauce that came with it. The food was absolutely great, However, it was just small. For three dollars more I could have gotten the giant Size sub at Jersey Mike’s. The food was good, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.

Last night I had takeout from here and it was outside. The pita bread was the best I have had… homemade, pillowy, soft and delicious. The cashier was lovely and welcoming. All of the food was delicious! I bought a chicken kebab and a beef kebab platter. I have pictures of the chicken only.
