For our 36th anniversary we decided to try Spaggi's for the first time. When you walk through the doors you immediately are taken in by the beautiful decor and layout. We were greeted by the most pleasant and friendly gentleman, Leo, who immediately made us feel like we had been coming to the restaurant for years. He gave us a tour of the restaurant before seating us. The food, par none, was superb!! The portions were generous and the presentation picture worthy. The decor and ambiance was lovely and quaint, dimly lit, with linen tablecoths. Our waiter Cameron(sp?) was helpful and well-informed when describing the specials, and couldn't have been more attentive without being intrusive. I would add pictures but there's no "add photo" on this review. We will definitely be returning to Spaggi's and invite you to try this little gem of a restaurant nestled in Upland.

Dad's birthday was made extra special by the folks at Spaggi's. Started with the tomato puff pastry which is our favorite. The cheese sauce is habit forming and would be delicious on an amazon box. Henry sent out a gnocchi appetizer that was also incredible. Very lite, delicate gnocchi with a tomato and pesto sauce. We split two entrees between three people and had some left over to take home. Veal Florentine was a special for the night. Very hard to find veal around here, Spaggi's always has an incredible Osso Bucco, but if you want veal cutlets, there are not many places. These were very good, topped with prosciutto and spinach with an elegant wine sauce. We also got the steak and lobster. Both cooked perfectly and were delicious. They brought out a dessert for dads bday and we added one as well. A fantastic experience with great service and we got to talk with the owners Anna and Henry.

Spaggi's is one of our favorite local restaurants. Nice, small room, very attentive but low key (as it should be) wait staff, and a not too big, not too small consistently well executed menu. Always a good dining experience without ridiculously exorbitant prices.

The perfect place for celebrating a special occasion, or just for a special treat! The menu has a variety of offerings, and over the years I have tried many of them - all delicious! The ambience is so elegant, and special. The waiter's are very attentive, and if you are celebrating a special occasion - there's a special treat for you at the end.

We were told by our waiter we had to order appetizer, salad and entree all at one e. We felt rushed. We decided not to do that and when he came we tried to order our appetizer and he said we had to order everything and that he'd be back. Very weird, never had that happen at any restaurant, turned off

Beautiful restaurant. I noticed that the food especially the vegetables are not fresh. The wedding soup I ordered was a disappointment. It tasted like it was made with bouillon. Customer service was excellent.

The ambience was perfect for a pre-Valentine's day dinner. Servers were very attentive, and the food was delicious! Especially loved the Tutti di Mar with risotto and the tiramisu dessert. Will be returning for sure!

Always great food and service. Tried the Chicken parm special, which was definitely classed up by the brilliant mind of Henry(the owner and chef). I usually get steak, lamb chops, or osso bucco, which are all excellent, but you have to listen to all the daily specials because there are always great dishes on there. The chicken parm was excellent and it came with veggies and pasta which had a yellow tomato sauce on it, not something you see every day. If you have not tried Spaggi's you are missing out.

My husband brought me here to celebrate our 16th anniversary. First of all, when you enter the restaurant is is beautifully decorated with the wonderful paintings. The lighting is dimmed which I liked. It was very romantic. Our server was just awesome with her suggestions and being thorough with explaining the appetizer options. She was also very helpful with explaining the menu details to us. My husband tried the spaghetti and I the shrimp limone. The sauce for the spaghetti was tasty and had good flavor. I kept on tasting a hint of orange but I might be wrong. However, it was good . I really didn’t like my shrimp scampi limone because the sauce didn’t really taste like lemon. The shrimp tasted good. The server was so sweet to make me a special non-alcoholic drink and I loved it. Overall, my hubby and I will be going back to taste more of the menu items. We love Italian food. My mamas side of the family are from Sardinia so we know good tasting homemade Italian food .The server even brought my hubby and I a little anniversary treat. That was so thoughtful. Will be coming again with the family and friends. Thank you for a really nice experience

The service is excellent. The ravioli appetizer is wonderfully. Not impressed by the rest of the meal most especially the risotto. Not a proper risotto. Just mushy rice.

We drove up from Garden Grove as we've made Spaggi's our go to restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday as well as mine later in the summer. Really great selection of beautifully prepared and presented delicious dishes. Nice selection of fairly priced wines. Enjoyed the dessert as well. Couldn't believe our waiter could remember and describe in detail all the specials. Very friendly and professional service that we appreciate. The Oso Bucco is too good to pass up, but next time I'm determined to try a pasta dish. Can't wait.

The food was incredible, but the service was even better. Our party of 5 was attended to on every need. Our server recited the specials with clarity and made sure we had every question answered. So many wonderful choices on the menu and the environment was quiet and comfortable.

Food was good NOT great . Very small portions (smallest crab cakes I've ever seen) which is not typical of an Italian restaurant. My wife had the mango Cod special which was try and had no flavor . Tiny petite crab cakes which were one bite each , I had the shrimp Limon with tiny shrimp which was very underwhelming. Also it's annoying that the menu on the website is not the menu you available when you dine there and basic things like crème brûlée where not available

It is always a pleasure dining at Spaggi's. The food is always very tasty and with a beautiful visual presentation. Everyone is very friendly and polite, providing a family type atmosphere. It do not matter what it is ordered, it is always a great experience. I would recommend Spaggi's to anyone, any time, for any occasion.
