My wife and I, both tea lovers, finally decided to check out Sunright Tea Studio in Upland after it’s been on our list for a while. We were excited to try a new tea place in the neighborhood, but overall the experience was just okay.

🍵 What We Tried:
We ordered a couple of teas — and while they were pleasant, nothing really stood out compared to other tea spots we’ve been to.

💸 Prices:
Around $10 per drink, which is similar to other tea places nearby. Fair, but not competitive enough to make this our go-to.

😐 Overall Vibe:
Service was fine and the atmosphere was nice, but in the end nothing blew us away. It wasn’t a bad visit, but it also didn’t leave us excited to come back.

👉 Would We Return?
Probably not, unless we’re in the area and craving tea. For now, we’ll stick with our favorite tea spots that deliver more flavor and uniqueness.

💬 Tip for Fellow Tea Lovers: Worth checking out once if you’re nearby — but if you’re after something memorable, you might find better options elsewhere.

Usuallt love this place. Came in today with a friend to get boba. I got the collab drink, but it 1. didn't come in a cup that it was said to online, not a big deal. We had to wait 5 minutes for Tiffany to look before we asked her if it was supposed to come with a coaster. She grabbed the coaster and practically slammed it down on the table infront of us and turned around. Then, we had to wait again to get her attention. Asked for a cup of water we asked for beforehand, and she sighed and filled a small cup, unsealed, and was only partly filled and all ice, sliding it. The whole time, glaring. Very disappointed as it felt rude in general. We understand there were a few people, but we were the last order, so there wasn't even a rush. Usually love this place, again, hope to update this review. Edit: The brown sugar milk tea she made also was only milk, no tea in it. It tasted not at all good, brown sugar milk tea is often bought by us here yet tasted horrible. We also put less ice on that one, yet it was filled. Tiffany also made both drinks.

Staff made me feel unsafe because of my deadly milk allergy.

Staff was very rude from the beginning.

I was worried about my milk (whey) allergy, so I stepped to the side to see what my options were, as Boba tea places are never an issue for me.

When I was ready to order, the staff told me to go use the kiosk.

I mentioned kindly that I had specifications about my allergy that I wanted to note, and she snapped back and told me I should use the kiosk and that I could “write allergy” in the kiosk.

She looked very annoyed, and clearly did’t want to hear my allergy needs.

She made me feel uncomfortable as a customer, and greeted everybody else in the store besides myself.

Not sure what the problem was, but there are plenty of other Boba places so I definitely won’t be back.

I have to be safe when it comes to my allergy, because it can be deadly for me.

I didn’t feel safe, all because someone was rude and careless. Please avoid this location if you’re concerned or have an actual allergy, and not just stomach problems.

The way that she batted her eyes at me was so awkward, she honestly seemed like she was having a bad day.

Probably the best matcha boba I’ve had in years. Love it. Use kiosk to order and credit card only. Would definitely go back.

I can't even speak on the quality of the drinks but I will say this about the service...I went in on an Uber eats order and showed the employee my order she said it'll be a bit...Isee them put 2 drinks down but figured it wasn't my order...it was.. 7 Minutes my drinks sat there finished before she handed my order to me. Not to mention I had another order that was waiting before that.. ruined my tip for both orders.Just because she wasn't paying attention

Service and drinks were excellent; this is a review on the restroom. Although very clean, the electric lock does not work. It locks and unlocks on its on will, meaning anyone could walk in on you at any given time. This should be remedied rather than just having a note on the door that says to “knock first”.

When you walk in the staff says “hi” then ignores you while you wait to order until you see a small sign that instructs you to order at the kiosk by the door on the wall. I watched this happen to several customers after me who stood there at the register waiting to order. Also, really slow service. Expect to wait 15 mins for one drink. Drink was really good though. I think they use real fruit puree.

I’m so thrilled that a brand-new boba shop has opened just 3 minutes from me in Upland! It’s always exciting when a local business offers something fresh, and this spot does not disappoint. They offer a great variety of drinks, including options with cream foam, which is always a win in my book.

I tried the mango/jasmine tea with lychee jelly and honey boba, and it was delicious—refreshing with the perfect balance of sweetness. Plus, the ability to adjust the sweetness to your taste is a huge plus. If my drink were to not be made exactly right the first time, I’d have no problem asking them to remake it, as the staff seems super accommodating and friendly.
Looking forward to becoming a regular here! If you’re in the area and craving boba, definitely check them out. It’s definitely a great addition to UPLAND.

Customer service if very off the staff are a bit rude and not friendly at all.

Bought 3 drinks from them and their packaging sucks. The drinks were leaking everywhere and leaked out the bag and got all over my clothes and car. They need to fix this packaging, I never had this problem at other Sunright locations.

While visiting my best friend in Upland, I stumbled upon this place. The drinks are ordered through a kiosk, with various options for sweetness, ice amount, and extra toppings. Our drinks were made promptly after ordering. The interior of the tea house is cute and inviting.
