The one star is for the AYCE policy which they don't tell you upfront or give you any warning. It's all you can eat for 3 rounds and then you get cut off. I was not told of this ahead of time or explained. So we ordered 3 rolls and got cut off. It's simple communication with customers that would go along way.

This was my family spot many years ago. However, the service and food has gone down. Tempura is over coated and looks burnt and hard. Sushi rolls have imitation crab meat. Instead of five rounds of all you can eat you get three. We were not impressed and only made it to two rounds. The service was okay but did not feel friendly. The price is too high for the level of service and quality of food

I would always come here and always get AYCE and it would end at 9:30. Lady decided to cut it off at 8:45 pretty shitty of them to pick and choose when they want to do AYCE

I would give this place 0 stars if it was applicable. First off, I came in here because I remember the food being well served and decent. But today was an utter disappointment. The service was okay but a little slow to respond even tho there were 5 customers at the time. I ordered my favorite sushi (the Ikura) and noticed how very little I was given and how much rice was in there. Same with a Salmon Hand roll, a small slice of fish in a fist full of rice. Truly disappointed. When I asked the staff about why I was given very little of the Ikura, they made some excuses about running out. However, It was clearly obvious what they were doing. Cheeping out on customers is just down right wrong. Lastly, there lighting inside was flickering like crazy. Never coming here again.

It has been a few years since we visited Sushi Takumi because we found Sushi One spot. So we decided to give a try since one spot won't open until 2:30pm. We arrived at 11:50am. We were seated at noon. Food: totally disappointing, the fish is very thin and tiny. The fish doesn't taste fresh. The rice is huge and very dry. My husband can cook better sushi rice. Every sushi and rolls has too much sauce. Service: there is only one person serving. He is very diligent but it is too much for a person. Food came out slow as well. There is another person who occasionally helped. Overall, we will not come back again. It is the worst sushi restaurant that we have visited. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing is that have ice cream as part of all you can eat.

I've been coming here for years, although haven't been in the past year. I'm so disappointed in the way it is now, the service is so slow, we were there almost 2 hours and never even completed our first round, which was like 4 rolls a few things from the kitchen. Will not be returning

Super good sushi. The strawberry lemonade roll was always my Favorite. Pricey but so worth it.

I was very disappointed with the experience and the service and the food. I came in while it was still slow, on a Friday night around 5pm. It took over an hour to receive the first round with only 4 rolls. The food was bland and extremely underwhelming. I will never be back

Good food and great service. All you can eat is a bit pricey. But considering some people might abuse. Which is not my case.

I'm so sad that this place has declined over the years. I've been many times before, but I suspect ownership may have changed hands. The things the other reviewers say are true - it's "all-you-can-wait" sushi at prices you would expect to pay at a place with better ambiance than the strip-mall store front that Sushi Takumi offers. We visited at 12:30 on a Thursday - and we were literally the only customers in the place, which seemed odd. Now I know why - the food takes forever to come out. The server was a nice guy and apologetic and it wasn't his fault that for a party of 5 the rolls were coming out one at a time and took way too long. Food quality was good, not phenomenal. I will not be back. Too many other options out there.

My family has been coming to this spot for a few years now. Quality has deteriorated and price doubled. WARNING; if you give some rice to a baby the baby will be charged 25 dollars for all you can eat. Which was a surprise when we got the bill. Im sure theyll come out and do the whole "rules are rules" routine but there is such a thing as being a decent business. Gratuity is forced on you and priced in, so it makes sense they charged us 75 dollars extra for three kids all under the age 4 giving them some extra change, good game! All you can eat is$36 for adults, $25 for kids (no matter the age i guess), Gratuity is 18%.
