The Ploughman
Chef's daily selection of meats & cheeses, accoutements, and fresh baked bread.
Crab Cakes
Lump & claw crab meat, panko & eggs, toasted chilies & herbs. Panko crusted and fried. Served with lemons and our picante dill pickle aioli.
Charcuterie
Literal translation, "The products of a fancy pork butcher". Our curated trio of cured meats is served with our dijon butter, pickled onions, cornichons and suced French baguette.

Baked by the artisans at rockenwagner bakery in LA. Served with our signature Augustin ale aioli brewed by brouwerij van steenberge in Belgium.

Brined & grilled chicken breast, little gems & mixed greens, dressed in our champagne vinaigrette, topped with bustered cherry tomatoes, marinated green beans, hard boiled eggs and morning made, d'espellete salt potato chips.

Local ling cod dipped in our bavik beer batter. Served with frites, tartar sauce & a small mixed green salad.

Boz prime flat iron steak topped with maitre d'butter accompanied by pomme frites & an arugula salad with our caramelized onion vinaigrette.
The Belgian Mussels
From brussels, 1 pound steamed in aromatics herbs, & cream served with butter grilled baguette & butter.
Schnitzel
Pork loin, breaded pounded and fried topped with a sweet & tangy salad of Belgian endive & organic greens, red grapes, sweet sauerkraut and our apple cider vinaigrette.

Interesting food! We came to support a friend's band playing. It took a very long time to get a table, the place was pretty packed on a Saturday night. The food was a little pricey, service was a little slow but not bad. Fries were $9, charcuterie board $35.

We ordered a bottle of champagne, but it did not come with juice refills, which should have been included. Additionally, the $25 beer flight was overpriced for what was offered. While the food was acceptable, the overall experience felt underwhelming given the cost.

The Back Abbey is great! We visited Upland for a family event and ended up coming here twice because it was delicious. The Friday night we were there even had live music, which was the perfect accompaniment to the evening. The staff are super friendly as well. Definitely recommend!
