Drove by randomly and decided to stop. The older male was super nice and the food is really good, reminds me of home cooking. Definitely will come back here again!!

Came here around closing time. They only had limited food options, which is understandable with closing shop, but I got the chicken & Cheese enpanada along with strawberry cheese pastry and a chocolate chip cookie. It was all good. Coming back again but at an earlier time.

The empanadas are delightful. We had them first during the lemon festival and now get them any time we are in downtown upland. Their is a worker that's frequently there and very kind and passionate always giving recommendations. Love this place I'm sure we will continue to visit.

3 stars for service cause the guy upfront was nice. Although he hyped up the chicken salad, which I thought was a salad but it was like a tuna sandwich but with chicken. It was awful. Also hate to find hair in my food!!!! First and last time there :( and I’m sorry to leave a bad review but I payed 29 dollars for 2 terrible sandwiches. Such a waste of money. Also I couldn’t breathe in there it was so dang hot I had to leave immediately after getting the food.

I’m not here to leave a bad review to lower this small businesses rating. But the fact that I was charged $13 for a simple ham and cheese croissant is pretty crazy. The quality was very bad, the cheese was not real and the croissant was not fresh. This is a review to let the management know that the price and quality of the items are unfair. This same thing costs $3 at similar local bakeries.
Great food and service at this local sandwich shop and bakery. Service was amazing with Amy. She took our order and was so friendly and helpful. Great location in downtown Upland. Great local vibe. Good parking behind the shop. Would recommend and will be back for lunch again.

I walked in right when they opened and was greeted with: our empanadas just came out of the oven, would you like to try one? I instantly knew this was gonna be a good place to eat. They gave me 2 empanadas, chicken and cheese wich I loved and curry. 100% recommend it ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was saddened to hear that some of their products were not made in house: macarons for instance. I chose a fruit tart and am m&m cookie. The strawberries on the tart appeared old, and the pudding middle (which should be more like a custard) tasted like a boxed vanilla pudding mix. Both the tart and the cookie were very chemically tasting. Though, the owner was very kind and his cheer made for a wonderful start to my day. Unfortunately, in light of the products' composition and flavors, I will not be coming back.

Delicious empanadas and baked goods. They have the empanada version of the Filipino Turon (usually plantain and jackfruit in egg roll then deep-fried) but it sells out real fast. The guava and cheese empanada filling is house-made from real guava, not syrup.

This is one of the best bakeries I have been to. The service was outstanding. The workers were so kind. The macaroons were amazing. And everything takes like HEAVEN! I am NOT joking. I would recommend this place to anyone!
