I took my mom here for a celebration and we absolutely loved it! The whole place is decorated beautifully so any pictures you take will come out perfect. They sell fun gifts that are beyond reasonably priced (we saw a vintage gift card set for $8 and a vintage children’s book for $7). The people who run it clearly put their heart into everything, our server even told us that the cookies we had that day were his own grandmother’s recipe! The food was way too good- I was mad at myself for trying the cheesecake last, I was too full to order more of it by then….but I wish I could have gotten a dozen of them. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Where do I even begin? The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for a nice tea party. There's always music playing that sets the mood. I've gone here twice recently! My favorite tea is the apple caramel one, it's sweet and flavorful. And the desserts are always so delicious! Coming alone or with someone is worth it, and all the staff are so sweet!!

Where to begin!?! This place is so adorable and welcoming. From the ease of booking to the friendly call confirming our reservation! This is mine and my daughter's (11 years old) first time doing afternoon tea and we are hooked! Coming in is a cozy home feel with beautiful decor and we were seated right away. We chose the Mango Tea and Carmel Apple Tea. They were both delicious but the Mango Tea was our favorite! The blueberry scone and tea sandwiches were yummy! Our favorite was the cucumber sandwich. The desserts were great, especially their great grandmothers homemade cookies shaped like tea pots! We had great conversations with the owners who were so sweet and amazing! My daughter is already asking when we can come again!!

We hosted 42 ladies that absolutely enjoyed their time at the tea room.
We have traveled all over the country and are tearoom connoisseurs and we feel that this tea room is in the top list of our favorites.
From booking the event, to the service, food and decor we can't say enough good things about it.
The owner shared with us that the tearoom was built in 1904 and was restored to its original time period during the pandemic. The decor takes you back in time.

When I called to make a reservation, the person on the phone seemed very frustrated and unhelpful. That interaction alone made me hesitant to book, but I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. The food was great, but I would not describe the service as friendly or attentive. In the contract, I had clearly noted that someone in our party had a dairy allergy, and I assumed they would accommodate that. However, when we arrived and asked about dairy-free options, there were only a few available. The server told me I should have mentioned the allergy, and I explained that it was already written in the contract. After checking and confirming it was indeed noted, he then claimed that someone on the phone had said “as long as the dairy was baked in, it would be okay”—which was completely untrue. I would recommend this place for the food and tea, but unfortunately, not for their service or allergy awareness.

An afternoon tea favorite for all occasions! I have been here with family and friends on many visits and all visits have been consistently high quality in customer service and products. I have even enjoyed their seasonal decor for 4th of July, Halloween, and Christmas.

Michael and Terry and all of their staff have been incredible on all of our visits. We always feel welcomes and valued. Their kindness is above and beyond. They always have support staff on the busy weekends and those I've come across have always been sweet too. We always do the Full Tea Set which comes with a Pot of Tea, Soup, Salad, Scone, Tea Sandwiches and Desserts. Love love love everything! The tea sets are always cute and we love seeing different tea pots and cups every time. They always have honey from their farm, and offer milk if you like it for your tea. The honey is available for purchase. The soup and salad are made with fresh farm to table ingredients they grow on their farm. I especially love the onion dressing and have also purchased dressing to take home. The scone is the most moist and delicious scone I have ever had. The scone is served with cream, lemon curd, and a seasonal housemade jam. Always delicious. There are also 4 sandwiches per person: cage free chicken salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich, cucumber sandwich and a roasted pepper. The bread is soft and tasty. The sandwiches are all delicious and light. For the desserts, there is always a tea pot shaped cookie that is a recipe of Terry's grandmother. This latest visit there was also a slice of banana bread and a cheesecake bite. Yummm! Such a treat!
My family and friends always have a good time when we come here. It is one of our go-to favorites for our celebrations and just for general enjoyment. Looking forward to future visits with Michael and Terry and their staff!

My friends surprised me with a trip to the Olde Magnolia for the wonderful afternoon tea experience for my bachelorette party. It was an amazing opportunity. We went on Father’s Day and it was slow, just our table and one other, the service was amazing and friendly. I really felt like our server, who is also part owner, went above and beyond for us. The atmosphere was charming and really fit the vintage/classy afternoon tea vibe. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked/baked. I’m still thinking about the sandwiches and scones weeks later. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is remotely interested.

This is the cutest place. Once a year my daughters, granddaughters and I meet for tea. This is the second time we have met at the Old Magnolia Tea House. We discovered it last year after trying other tea houses in the area, and I think we are hooked! The decor in the place is phenomenal. I could describe it to you in great detail, but then you would not be tempted to go see for yourself. All I can say is make sure you visit the restroom! The tea itself is sublime, as are the scones, sandwiches, and dessert. Make sure to order the full tea because the soup is so good you’re gonna want to drink it. How’s the service, you say? Have you ever been to one of those fancy restaurants where the waiter appears out of nowhere every time you need something without being asked? Yeah, that was Terry. Except I don’t think he’s a waiter. I was getting owner vibes, which would make such attention to the customers needs even more special. We truly felt like royalty. All in all, my advice is this—baby shower, bridal shower, birthday celebration, or just tea with the girls, check this place out first. I just saved you a lot of running around. You’re welcome!
