Zaky Mediterranean Grill

The food was not good at all. We threw our half eaten plates away because we couldn't stomach them. This is terrible fast food. The place is also run down. They have plaster marks on the walls. The place was empty, but while I waited for my to-go order, I wondered if the place had been riddled with bullets because of all the plaster smudges. If you want Mediterranean food, there are better options in the area. For having spent more than $50, I feel like I was ripped off. I have a serious question. What is that cucumber yogurt side made with? It tasted like it was made with some type of processed, imitation yogurt.

Very very disappointed I been ordering chicken all the time from that restaurant and it was one of the best chicken rich flavor and seasoned today I ordered doordash delivery same order as every time! And I was shocked! I received 1/2 chicken “ costco Rotisserie Chicken” not the chicken I uSed to get it from that restaurants! And here’s two pics the old chicken i used to get vs what I got today! a whole grocery store $5 Rotisserie chicken!

I had the absolute worst experience at Zaki Mediterranean Restaurant in Upland. Honestly, it gives a bad name to Mediterranean food. The dishes were so poorly made that I couldn’t even finish my meal, and I wouldn’t serve it to a dog. Everything lacked freshness, flavor, and quality — which is shocking because Mediterranean food is usually known for being rich, vibrant, and delicious.

This place completely failed in every way: the taste, the presentation, and the overall experience. I will never go back, and I truly regret wasting time and money here. If you’re craving real Mediterranean food, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

Always tasty and the portions are more than generous. Staff is friendly. I wish they hadn’t closed the location on Carnelian and the 210. It was just a bad location and impossible to get in the center and back out.

Went there for luch and asked for a salad with chicken with low sodium for my mom she has kidney problems, the lady cook was really kind to takeoff the pre seasoning from the chicken and it was still delicious

I love Shawarma and if you're in the Indian Empire, there's really no place better than Zaky. It take great care of their customers, and I always feel welcomed even though I place my order online.

I've been to four different locations and every single time. The people always just seem to be really kind and welcoming. I really love coming here and I'm grateful this place is around.

Picked up food for Mother’s Day to take to LA and it was delicious 😋 everyone enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and the steak was so tender & juicy. Salads fresh. My parents are looking forward to having this again!

This was my families first time eating at Zaky’s and we loooved it!! I had the steak and chicken kabob plate and it was moist, well-flavored, and delicious. We will be coming back again for sure!!

Overpriced for the portion of meat you get. Much rather go somewhere else

Very good chicken

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at Zaky’s. They’ve messed up our pickup order the past three times! Each time, we paid for 6 extra sauces at $1 each and 2 extra protein portions at $6 each, but they didn’t include them. That’s $18 down the drain, and it’s unacceptable. We made sure to check this trip and sure enough, same issue so they gave us the extra sauces but the chicken portion stayed the same.

It’s frustrating to pay extra for items we didn’t receive, especially when this keeps happening. The food is good, but the lack of attention to detail and customer service is really ruining it for us. I hope they can fix their process, but for now, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.
