I had the ropa vieja plate it was delicious 😋 café con leche and cafecito was amazing! The owner was very friendly.
Our family had lunch today for the first time. It was delicious! We were six and each ordered different dishes. The Cuban food is original. The best Cuban food that I have had in a long while! Vacaville Breakfast Cuba Café is a little gem in a town with limited breakfast options, offering a flavorful Cuban twist on both familiar breakfast staples and Cuban staples like chicken, rice, beans, plátanos maduros, and ropa vieja. The chilaquiles verdes o rojos are delicious and fresh, while the Fiesta omelette and biscuits and gravy are simple and prepared perfectly. The coffee is good, though a little too sugary for some, and the pastries are also great. The staff is always warm, friendly, and considerate, providing wonderful service in a small, cozy café with a family vibe. The food is bold, hearty, and comforting, with flavors that remind some of Miami. A perfect lunch stop between Tahoe and the bay area, this hole in the wall spot has the BEST food and ample, clean seating. It is a must-visit for anyone looking for a breakfast spot with character, flavor, and a little something different.
