We are from out of state and were looking forward to celebrating our niece's upcoming graduation at Fuso's. We had a party of eight and the food was very disappointing for many of us and the service was poor. The mandatory 20% tip, plus additional credit card fee was way too much for the service received and almost inedible food. Would not recommend.

5* for the food. I ordered the salmon pasta and my husband ordered the shrimp Diablo pasta. The food was hot and well seasoned. All was good until our waitress disappeared for about 45 minutes. I could see her in the back chatting. We finally had to get someone to close us out and for the second night in a row, we left a restaurant without dessert! She did come out and give us some excuse, but by then we were done.

Went to a neighbor restaurant (won't say their name here-but a yelp review was given) and had a horrible experience and saw this place on our way out and made a mental note. Decided to try it yesterday. Walked in and was asked if we wanted to sit in the area that had happy hour or in the main dining area. I was shocked to hear happy hour on a Sunday.. We chose to sit in the Happy Hour area-pretty much the bar area which we sat right actions from. Most tables didn't have table linens in that area but I believe the main dining area does (had I known, I probably would have made a different choice). We ordered the calamari off the happy hour menu which also contained prawns as our appetizer. It was ok/nothing to rave about but the prawns were a nice addition. They also serve complimentary bread and butter. For our entrees I ordered the Salmon and hubby ordered pasta. The food came out hot!! Sadly I'm finding this isn't always the case at some restaurants so this was a plus for me. We enjoyed the food. I'm not really a pasta lover but hubby is and he enjoyed his-had good flavor and was definitely a nice portion. My salmon was also tasty!! A little crisp on the top and cooked perfectly in the middle (thankful it wasn't dry). It came with pasta mixed with veggies but I could have just went with veggies and not the pasta as I pretty much didn't eat it. The service was excellent. I can't recall the waitress name but she was very pleasant and attentive. A few cons: 1. presentment of the windows. The first thing you see of an establishment when walking up is the outer appearance. I strongly recommend to have the windows cleaned--it gave me concerns because cleanliness is very important to me and if I were an owner of a restaurant that would be a priority!! 2. They charge an additional feel for using credit/debit. In today's world-most don't carry cash and choose to either use credit/debit or Apple Pay. It irritates me that I hate to be charged to use my own money so keep that in mind and carry cash if you feel the same. I think the charge as $2+.. 3. Too many menus-happy hour menu, drink menu and the regular main course option menu. I don't like touching a lot of things so that always gets to me but I always have hand sanitizer :-).. it would be great to find a way to condense them. Overall ,we were pleased and I think I'd go back and If so, we will sit in the main dining area.

Visited first time for my birthday in February. Fuso Fusion Italian restaurant is amazing! It is a small quaint place in downtown Vacaville. Our server was very attentive and her service was wonderful. The food is definitely a 10! I selected an item off the Specials Menu. Spaghetti with Salsiccia, Warm Spinach Salad with goat cheese, and ice tea. We also had an appetizer... Beef and Shrimp Lumpia. The server brought me a surprise Tiramisu for my birthday! Everything was prepared fresh and tasted amazing!!! I loved everything about Fuso! I brought my sister for her birthday two weeks later when she visited from Florida. She loved the food and dining experience as well. Thank you for making our birthdays a memorable event for both of us. I will be returning.

A lot of people say I got to do Din Tai Fung, I got to do Din Tai Fung. I've had a Xiao Long Bao, and it was aight. The only Xiao Long Bao I would probably get there, is the Chicken Xiao Long Bao or Cod Dumpling or Veggie Dumpling. I'm more of a Chicken and Dumplings or Masa-Dough Dumpling Soup type of person. It's more hearty to me. That's why I'm into Gnocchi. Gnocchi is like between a Dumpling and Pasta. It's made out of potato. The Gnocchi was the right consistency. I've had Goat Cheese, but I never had home made Goat Cheese with it. That added just enough sharpness to it. It's also good to see Wild Mushrooms when they're in season. To finish it, the Chardonnay Cream Sauce was decadent and velvety. There was something about the sauce that kept on getting better and better. It didn't overpower all the other good things that were going on. And it paired well, with an Italian Blackberry Soda.

Friday night, quite busy. Maybe the only Italian restaurant in town? Chicken parm had no flavor. Waiter walks up, stands there for 5 seconds "Would you like drinks?" No "hello", or "welcome", etc. Waiter shows up with dinner plates without removing salad plates, looking at us as though it was our fault we didn't bus our own table. Waiter did not appear during course of dinner to see how things were. Only went here because I was forced to by family.

Our Valentines dinner was soooo good. Sure food service was a bit slow being so busy but the kindness of our waitress Michelle made waiting not a problem. We will definitely enjoy dining there again. My only recommendation is perhaps some low volume italian music to complete the ambiance.

Only been there for lunch (three times) and I highly recommend this spot in old town Vacaville. Great food, reasonably priced and a nice wine list. They have a gluten free pasta option for most meals, too. Service is great.

All 5 of us really enjoyed our dinner, from traditional Spaghetti and Meatballs to a special of Filet Tip Risotto. They were delicious! Interesting cocktail menu and full bar with a good wine list available. Great location in downtown Vacaville. Give it a try!

A little confused. We were charged a service charge & a credit card charge on our bar bill.Although we were with a large group, one person paid for the meal tab. Another person in our party paid cash & was not charged the service charge for a party of 6 or more on her bar tab.I paid about $17 in these fees & still gave the server a generous tip. The quaint Italian ambiance was nice & the servers were friendly but we wouldn’t go back.
