Since new ownership, the food quality has gone down as well as the portion sizes. However, the prices have gone up substantially. I'd rather go to Azteca.
Edit: more than $21 for a Super Burrito? It's almost like buying a car.... you keep elevating to the next trim level before you know you're paying top dollar.
Their Super Burrito starts at $12 and then, $1 to add crema, $1 to add cheese, $2.50 to add guacamole, another $2 if you want it wet. You do the math, and this is all before adding meat! That's too much! Does it come with a payment plan?
For the same thing at Azteca, it's about $7 less.

Absolutely incredible reataurant - been about 6 times and never had a bad experience. The food is incredible yes and and the staff is AMAZING!!! Plus a covered dog friendly patio is always a plus.

We always stop here when coming down to the bay from Tahoe and always impressed by the authentic taste and margaritas. So close to the freeway and delicious, everyone should try this place.

Alo is the sweetest and best server around!!

I’ve eaten here before and my food and margarita were great; however, on my most recent visit, it took about 7 minutes for us to just get up and leave after having no waitress come over to us. I also found hair in the salsa. When I went to use the restroom, I almost fell because the floor was so slippery. The caution wet floor sign was not placed in the proper place to caution anyone; it was next to the sink and the door was closed, not allowing the bathroom to be properly ventilated. There was long hair on the toilet and in the sink. We decided to leave. I’m giving it two stars based on our last visit.

Everything here is good. Went here with 8 people, and all 8 loved their meal. Large portions and very friendly and attentive staff. Definitely coming back.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with people throughout the restaurant enjoying their food. Many servers available making service quick and accommodating smoothly. We received our appetizers within 10 min of sitting and our salsa and chips arrived as soon as we sat down. The specials and meal options fit everyone's tastes. I recommend the mushroom, chorizo & cheese dip for all occasions.

This restaurant delivered an excellent experience from start to finish. The customer service provided by Marilyn was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was just as impressive, with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor in every dish. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

Very quick service, server was great, very helpful. I would prefer a lil' more flavor with the food. The salsa was either too hot or too mild, had to mix for a medium/hottish taste. Food portions were excellent. Bar was stocked, plenty of choices and tv's with sports on at the bar. Friendly place.

My friends and I went on a Saturday afternoon, just passed 1pm. The place was packed. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. We ordered birria tacos and queso dip for appetizers. Both apps were very good especially the queso dip, it contained huge pieces of mushrooms. The birria tacos were big you get 3 and we shared. We were disappointed that the tacos came with a small ramekin of consomme rather than a cup or bowl. Our main entrees were huge. I ordered posole, and the bowl was huge with large chucks and shredded pieces of pork along with tender hominy. I had the rest of the posole to go. Jamaica aguas fresca was a little too sweet for my taste. I really recommend the queso dip as a starter. The Platos and entrees have huge portions. You know the food is good when the placed is packed. One of my friends grabbed a family style table 20min before the rest of the group showed up, otherwise it would have been a waitlist. Noisy inside the restaurant, so get an outside table for comfortable conversation.

Overall, I enjoyed my tri-tip burrito w/ fries. Came out nice and hot. Fries were nice and hot as well. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.

This place was amazing! If I could i would've gave 10 stars for service. My food came out so quickly for this type of this restaurant! Food was on point 👌🏾 they fit our party of 10 quickly. definitely recommend
