Located in the shopping center by the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Alamo Dr, next to I-80 freeway, Stir Fry is a Chinese fast food take -out restaurant. They do have three tables for 2 person seating if you have a small group and choose to eat there. We took our order home. All their offerings on the steam table were clearly marked. We enjoy this place and it's so nice having an inexpensive Chinese plate meal offering close to home. Single item plate under $10 including rice or noodles is significantly better than going to drive through fast food places. This really reminds me of the quick and reasonable Chinese places that were standard for me 30 years ago as a teenager that my mom would take us to. Not really what I expected. Fried rice has some kind of meat and so does the chowmein. I was shocked when a customer before me was ordering. She ordered pork and they had to weigh it before chopping it and adding it to the plate. I understand they are cutting food cost. But seriously weighing it is weird to me. The taste in food was also different to me. I guess I got used to SoCal, where they have good prices and serving are excellent portions.
