We ordered the “Texas Takedown” from Copper Hill BBQ to feed 50 people, and it was absolutely incredible! Not only did it feed everyone with plenty to spare (we still have leftovers!), but every single item was cooked perfectly.
The tri-tip was so tender and flavorful, and the salad and dressing were surprisingly amazing—fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the BBQ. The entire order was ready right on time, and everything was hot, well-packed, and easy to serve.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again for future events! Highly recommend for any large gathering—you’ll get more than your money’s worth and some of the best BBQ around!

Fantastic lunch. We had the Tri-tip with various sides and a Bowl w/vegetables. Everything was delicious. The meat was succulent, lean and tender. The vegetables were very fresh and tasty. We thought the portions were generous and the prices excellent. Very good quality food. The Garlic Herb Mushrooms were exceptional and the Classic Coleslaw was really nice and snappy and fresh. The staff were all very friendly. The atmosphere is very cute with a rustic vibe. We can't wait to go back and try more items. The Manager even came by to check that we were enjoying everything. Overall just a great experience.

Long Review incoming ---

First off, the food was all right. I'm from Texas and worked at bbq joint for a while, so I have a lot of opinions. The Tri-Tip was great, which is a must for California bbq spot. But the brisket was very dry. Brisket is difficult to get right, and I know can vary day to day and cut to cut, but the day I went it was extremely dry. I had to smother it in sauce to eat it. The BBQ sauce is solid, and seems to be homemade.

The Texas Toast is great, and while I loved the mashed potatoes, their recipe would probably not please everyone, as it is a little bit chunky and contains some skins. I like it that way, but not everyone does.

The pricing I found very confusing. You can definitely get a solid lunch combo for ~ $15. But I wanted to try 2 different meats, so I ordered a 2 meat combo, which appears to be the same as the basic combo just with another meat portion added. But the 2 meat is $31, more than twice the regular, though you don't get twice the food as far as I can tell. So you'd better off ordering two separate combos, it seems. Maybe the portion sizes are larger on the 2 meat combo, but the menu didn't say that, nor did the cashier when I asked what came with the 2 meat combo. Either way, I ordered the 2 meat combo, then got a drink, and after tip I ended up spending more than $50... I did have some leftovers, but this still seems a bit much when the rest of their menu is quite reasonably priced. So maybe the answer is just be smarter than me when you're ordering.

The staff is young and a bit green, but attentive.

Lastly, there is a terrible AI-generated picture of a truck in the men's bathroom, which is just embarrassing. It's not that hard to find real art -- even kitschy generic art -- for your restaurant. And I'm not nitpicking either, this picture is right above the sink and I immediately clocked it as AI slop.

I went to a catered event today from Copper Hill BBQ, and it was an absolute hit. The staff helped load several trays of food (which were prepared on time). They provided serving utensils, which most places don’t do. And the food was phenomenal! Chicken, tri tip, salad, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, Texas toast—all of it was incredible, and I’m a food snob. Copper Hill BBQ is wonderful!

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Carson, Paige, and Morgan at a wedding I was the lead coordinator for yesterday. Despite a lack of space in the venue and a lot of last minute adjustments, Paige, Morgan, and Carson were more than willing to accommodate to whatever we needed. Even when I was told their catering team was not responsible for bussing plates and the silverware, Carson never stopped moving even once and absolutely saved me and my team from a huge headache. They were extremely friendly, had their allergen list readily available for guests to see, and the best part-- the food was delicious. For all of these factors, not only am I writing this review, but I also give them 5 stars. I hope to get to work with the people from Copper Hill BBQ again and will be making a special stop at one of their locations to get my hands on some more of their brisket!

Went there for lunch, I heard good things about the place. I ordered the tri-tip meal with the creamy mashed potatoes and their Texas toast garlic bread. I also asked if there was any way of getting a sample of the brisket ( since this was my 1st time there) I was NOT disappointed! I got the sample, and it was delicious!! The size of the portions were more than satisfactory. The staff were great and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely be a repeat customer. The banana pudding was a great 'cherry on top' of the meal.
