We really wanted to like this place. But it's hard to enjoy your food while listening to the owner (lady) complaining with another table about her financial situation and stating how badly she needs a drink. Not really a good 1st impression especially trying to enjoy Valentine's Day with my partner who I was trying to surprise with his Cuban side. .I didn't understand the garlic bread it wasn't even toasted, they never offered to refill my ice tea or ask my parentner if he wanted something else to drink. The Shrimp Yellow Rice and beans were really good but the Ropa Vieja tasted like a roast from the crock pot with added tomatoes, nothing special. Idk I had high hopes for it being 4.8 but I think we will keep going to the Valley for our Cuban fix.

I have been here a few times but only had empanadas which were delicious. My wife loves it here. Finally I had the pleasure of having their food. I tried the Oxtail stew. Let me tell you that I would eat this every day. The oxtail sauce its flavored and if you mix it with their rice, it's amazing. This would be my every day meal. The oxtail doesn't have much meat but it comes off the bone so easily. Another extra point is how they serve their beer. Frozen glass. I don't know why it took me so long to try this place.

My first time today and without a doubt one of the best I ever had in my 34 years living in California. Service is great and food very authentic. Thank you El Cubano for sucha wonderful meal.
Worthy of a Google maps heart ❤️. You decide out on the potato balls and the pork dish. Loving the pickled cooked onions in top of the dish. Next recipe for me to add into my repertoire.
