I ordered a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito. Order was served fast, even before I could fix my drink. I was excited about this burrito because the reviews were good, and when we got the food the burrito was huge.
Well, I won’t be back. The burrito was really heavy on the potato, couldn’t detect the chorizo because of the chili (?!) they put in a burrito, and the bacon flavor was non-existent. It was supposed to be a three egg burrito, but I highly doubt there was more than two. The green hot sauce was also disappointing at best with little flavor.
The restaurant itself has been here since the late 60s and judging by the decor, it looks it. While the late 60s, early 70s vibe doesn’t bother me, the ceiling tiles that look like they haven’t been replaced in 50 years do. This place is more of a ‘greasy spoon’ type restaurant which is fine except the one dish I tried wasn’t that good.
The people are great, good service, but I’d try something other than the breakfast burrito.

Very disappointed in Jimmy Dean's. We've been coming here for years and won't be back. Ordered 2 sandwiches -one was wrong and my husband's pastrami sandwich was placed on the bottom of our take home bag, squashed by onion rings and zucchini. Both of us were sick all night after we ate too. All night. Spent over $40.00 and was horrible. Go elsewhere.

This WAS our go to spot every other Saturday morning for the Jr. Bacon Burrito. I would go to this spot over the Rye Canyon location because that location doesn’t have the Red salsa, just the bland Green one. We’ll, this morning I ordered my typical 3 burritos and when I got to the window, I asked for the 6 Red salsas (as always). Her response, “we don’t carry the Red salsa anymore, just the Green”. That SUCKS! Looks like this long time customer is moving on…. Thanks for the memories JD’s.
