The chicken has a tendency to be dry and chewy more often than not. I always end up trying them again but regret it later. The dressing for the salad is tart like and not very flavorful. The food isn't bad, but it's not consistent either.

Really good Med, the sauces are on point as is the tri tip. The chicken could be accused of being a costco rotisserie but if they switched to halal it would beat all. Staff made the first visit a guaranteed return today, and my son was spooning their garlic butter on everything. Glad Robert Evans recommended the place ;

Delicious chicken kabob, rice, cucumber salad, hummus, sliced onions, and a grilled tomato. This is my first time here...saw the take-out bags on the show "Bosch" and had to try it. These guys are doing a fantastic speedy job on the take-out part of the business...but I ate inside. Food is served in a clever tray that can convert to a take out box...just ask for the lid! Patio dining outside will be great on the warmer nights. Pepsi products available for beverages as well as teas and lemonade. Pics next time...I was hungry!

Just ordered their chicken kabob wrap and it was subpar. All dark meat, hardly any veggies and the bread fell apart.Sam’s Flaming Grill’s is at a much higher quality and taste level. Also, their prices offer more value.

I dunno about the bad reviews, for a chain restaurant this place is perfectly fine. Everytime I visit my parents in Castaic, I make a point to stop by here. Maybe it's not as good as in Burbank & Glendale where the Armenian population KNOWS what they like & ensure this food is SPOT ON, but it's frikkin' Valencia, you're not getting high culture & gastronomy here. Place is always clean & the employees, while there may be a high turnover rate, are friendly & chill (again, not expecting Michelin quality, just folks who help you explain what's in the food and thank you when you're done). Ya gotta live in the right spots or drive out far for the BEST shwarma, pitas, hummus, etc, but for simple gyros made right, Zankou is perfectly 4-star fine.

No hummus. No staff. Just a regular guy trying to order some food. Last time I'm coming here. The food is pretty good but the staff is lacking and slacking. Finally got to order my food. 20 min wait, note call in before you come. Got my food. Took one look at it and it was wrong. Come on the receipt is right there. I just don't like the staff and service they give.

If I can give this place no stars, it would be none to negative in a heartbeat. As a person that works food management, I always make sure my crew gets all customers' orders correctly. Especially when they spend a good chunk of money on their food, everything should be in their bags of food. Zankou apparently doesn't do that when you spend over $50 worth of food. And all they can do is give you store credit instead of just replacing your missing items. Why bother ordering a family meal when half your items are missing? Such BS! Take some pride in your job and get it correct. Especially when your customers are the reason you get a paycheck!

The staff at this Zankou are friendly. The location is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. It's in the Target parking lot towards the corner where McBean and MM Pkwy intersect. We've been three times and the food usually meets the standard of the Zankou on Sepulveda (that's what I compare them all to. :) However the last time I came here the chicken wasn't seasoned well at all. It was a bit disappointing. Also their Harissa didn't pack the same punch as the other location. It was just spice without flavor. All in all it was still good. But I hope this was just a one off, because the chicken is the best part!
