If you are looking for a surprisingly good meal in an AMAZING location, this is your place! And, let’s be honest; Vallejo may not have many gems, but this is definitely one of them.
My wife and I had lunch on a Saturday in early October 2025, and were surprised by the quality and the prices. Our lunch, with two mixed drinks came in at about $60.
My wife had the hibachi chicken while I got the short ribs and rice, with a fried egg on top. The hibachi chicken, with rice and fresh steamed veggies (which is a gluten free option!) was a bit smoky and garlicky … YUM-YUM! My short ribs and egg and rice were also very delicious, especially when I poured the rice vinegar on my rice which kicked up the flavor profile a notch or two. And the margarita and Mexican mule mixed drinks were the perfect accompaniment to wash down our scrumptious lunch.
The biggest bonus though, is that you can arrive by boat (no, that is not a typo!), tie up at the dock, and enjoy a great seat outside looking over Mare Island and the SF ferries, and the Napa River. There are not a lot of places around where you can arrive by car and/or on foot or by bike and by boat, but this is one of them.

Warm greetings from the staff and owner on entry. Fast service at the counter placing our order. Received our drinks and picked a nice table on the dock patio. Our food came out quickly hot and fresh!

I now work at Mare Island and this was the first closest thing we found. It’s about 3 miles from my work so it’s a good spot and it’s right in the water.
This is a Japanese restaurant that serves a few Filipino food items. Of course that’s what me and my co-workers ordered. We got the Tapsilog, Tosilog, and Bangalore. These are famous staple Filipino breakfast: it always includes garlic fried rice, meat protein and eggs.
I was surprised and happy at the same time that they served Filipino food here. The serving is pretty big and it tasted delicious.
The lady that served us was very nice. The ambiance is beautiful obviously m. It’s overlooking the water and boats passing by. The price is not too bad. I spent less than $15 for my meal.
Note: Great parking lot.

ordering the triple meat (steak shrimp chicken) fried rice, for the second time now, i only got two shrimps in my rice, both times, i thought that was odd. it’s always a lot of rice and not enough meat. very tasty, but i feel the portions of meat isn’t right.

There was a chicken wings that wasn't cooked all the way, I'm not a velociraptor bird man, everything else was just fine
Romeo is the best. Server, bartender chef etc! Drinks the way they are supposed to be made. It doesn't matter what you want he will make it for you and you have the beautiful water of the waterfront.
Cute little spot on the bay. Friendly service. The food was delicious! The drinks are great. The view is even better! It's a vibe, honestly. Definitely would come back.
No issues here, food was good. Service fast and it wasn’t much more expensive then a bacon cheeseburger and fries with a half pie from Natiins
First/last time at this place. Looked okay from the outside. Ordered food and drinks at the bar. Bartender was pleasant. Outdoor seating on the dock is pleasant-ish. When the boats and ferry go by the thing really gets moving.
Ordered a chicken (grilled?) hibachi bento box w plain rice. And an order of fish and chips a beer and a Mai tai. Drinks fine. After 15 min or so outside the server comes to say they're out of fish and chips. Substituted a "steak" bento box as it's the same price $20 vs $19.99. I'm going to assume that this place is still in business for the bar and the view of the “lovely” San Pablo bay. $60 for two meager bentos and a beer and cocktail. Nah. Judging by the bentos I'm going assume the fish and chips are either the best thing (sold out) or about as appetizing as the sad bento. The fried rice (was not offered an option) for the bento substituted for the fish and chips was about what you’d find at a Chinese steam table to go place. The steak was greasy and fatty and barely warm.
