I’m a big fan of low key spaces that dial it in. Chef Chew as well known as he is, is highly underrated.What he does with tofu is humbly masterful. While other places will rely on fake meats,he transforms a slab of tofu into a layers and pockets of flavor that get turned into one of the best vegan fried chickuns in the area and a vegan philly protein that is natural gluten free bc it’s basically just tofu and spices.The collards melt in your mouth but somehow don’t taste overcooked. And I think he changed his cheese sauce slightly bc it tastes even better since his reopening. Offering a vegan fried chickun and steak that isn’t made of processed ingredients is a subtle triumph that I don’t feel gets enough recognition. Vegan soul food done right. Much respect.

I love this place so much! The service is so friendly and you can tell they care about the community. The vegan food is great; I would recommend the mac and cheese, and of course, you can't go wrong with the Chicken Sandwhich!

One of the few vegan spots in Vallejo. The food is incredible! The ribs are insane... Everything I had tasted amazing and the people working were super nice. If they were able to make vegan chicken drumsticks, I would be there everyday haha. Wish they were open on Saturday though.

If you were a fan of the vegan restaurant Veghub that used to be in Oakland, you’re going to love the food here. They have the best vegan cheese sauce in the Bay Area. Their proteins are regarded as the best vegan proteins on the market. They have theee best vegan steak fries.
Very friendly staff, delicious food, and super clean. My daughter (8) and I both loved it. So happy to have a yummy vegan spot in Vallejo.

I haven't been to the revamped restaurant. I did try the Mac & chewz and the greens from the first grand opening days. The corner location is ideal (used to be a Subway's). The seating areas were clean, and the employees were very kind and professional. The macaroni dish tasted nothing like I'd hoped. It had a bland, non-seasoned taste. The yellow-orange "cheese" sauce was also not seasoned. I will not be trying it again. I enjoyed the greens and stopped there again to buy more. Now, with the re-grand opening, I'm not sure if I want to try anything else unless the recipes have changed. I do appreciate a healthy choice, but the prices are a bit too high for me to take chances. Undecided for now on giving it another try.
