It's been a LONG minute since the last time I've patroned Bud's Giant Burgers in Vallejo, CA. Coming back from the Haulers Expo in Santa Rosa, CA, we wanted something different but didn't know what, until Hubby mentioned Bud's Giant Burgers. It was over after that.
We made our way to the V and walked in. Talk about a trip down memory lane, I haven't been here in decades, y'all and IT WAS STILL THE SAME .. Pepsi fountain drinks and the smell of good ole' beef cooking away with mountains of french fries.
It wasn't busy at all when we order. We opted to sit in and eat at the table and it wasn't long before we were called and got down to the nitty gritty.
I had a bacon cheeseburger and shared large fries with Hubs. He had a Giant Cheeseburger. Look - we didn't talk at all, matter of fact we were both making weird noises with our mouths every time we popped in a french fry or took a bite of our burger. Man, still the same decades later.
All I'm saying is - If it ain't broke don't fix it. Prime example is Bud's Giant Burgers.

As someone who LOVES burgers: It's a very good classic burger. Very good value for the price and I would definitely go again if I'm in the area.
Wasn't very busy and the staff was friendly.
That being said; unfortunately, it's nothing spectacular.

Plain and simple, disgusting. Tiny burger patties that were dry with no flavor. Food is cheap but there’s a reason why.

Suggestion to Bud's Burgers. Please don't change the quality. I've had a few issues regarding ordering a burgers and getting cheeseburgers. The main issue I am starting to see is that the cup used now for the fries is a coffee cup is shorter than the usual Styrofoam cup. You have a many loyal customers, please don't take advantage shortchange us on the fries. Again, I've been a loyal customer since 1977 and seen where a coupon would get us a burger meal with fries coming in a cup which is now a large.
