My family and I had Bula Pies on Springs Rd. by 7/11 for the first time this evening and it was delicious! We had the Thanksgiving Pie and the banana pudding and both were so good! The limeade drink is my new favorite too so just wanted to shout out to them because food was great and the customer service was too!
Let's start with the positive. These pies are awesome. We bought the Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Smoked Brisket. We also bought the lamb and pork sausage rolls. Will definitely go back for more pies. Now the negative. The female at the counter was not helpful, never smiled and never greeted us back when we came in, and it just seems like she didn't want to be there.
The meat pies at Fiji Bula are incredible! Flaky, golden crust on the outside with savory, jam-packed fillings. They’re hearty, satisfying, and perfect for takeout — still warm and delicious when you get them home. I'm nuts for the brisket and the butter chicken. Easily one of the best comfort foods in Vallejo. Pro tip ;-) get an extra one for the drive home.
