I am an Ube Fanatic. And obviously a had to try a whole bunch off their menu. Honestly. The ube truffle was AAAAAHHHHMAAZING. I got the ube pop tart too, but I won't be trying that until the morning. My husband got the ube BREAD PUDDING (like whaaaat) and it was delicious. The workers are also something to rave about! They gave us wonderful service. Thank you!

Honest review, bought the following: Ube Halo-halo, ube cheese cupcake, ube oreo, ube pudding.
Halo-halo - thou admire the boldness of adding cereals on it but still doesnt click. Cereals over power all other ingredients and I felt there is no chemistry or the fusion does not match the true essence of the halo-halo.
Ube oreo - texture yes, but apparently it brings out the bitter taste out of the ube, dont worry it is just my taste bud and probably majority will not be able to notice it. Ube cheese cupcake - 7/10, we all know how salt helps in bringing out the flavorful taste of the ube and inorder to that a chemical reaction is required. Apparently, eating cheese and taking a bite of the ube does not do the trick. Ube Pudding - was not able to taste cause after a day in the fridge, mold develops (see attached photo)

So glad I came across cafe 86. The service is amazing and the desserts are absolutely delicious. They specialize on ube desserts which is a plus. I tried the halo-halo and its hands down the best in the area.

Coffee milk tea really good. Monster drinks are good too.
Great friendly service! Tried the ube milk tea - excellent and not too sweet. Pastrami sandwich is a great deal! Didn’t expect such a good sandwich. Upside down Halo Halo was fantastic! Recommend sharing

Came here to specifically try the upside down halo-halo. It was so worth braving the 104 def F heat.
It wasn’t cheap but they didn’t skimp on the ingredients. Well done, Cafe 86!
The cashier (sorry didn’t get his name) was cordial and friendly. He also asked if I wanted to sign up for their rewards program but I had to decline since we don’t have a Cafe 86 in Maine. He even wished me safe travels after learning I’m not local :)

I have tried most of their items; however, my favorite drinks are the ube monster shake and ube milk tea. For pastries, I love the ube butter bar, and ube cheesecake. The buttery crust for both is so delish. I visited this location twice in the evening and service was great and wait time was average (about 5-10 minutes).

Ordering at this cafe was a little sketchy because it’s connected to Seafoood City. But when ordering me and my family felt like the people working there wasn’t super enthusiastic. Most of the drinks we ordered were watered down or just didn’t taste right at all. I definitely recommend this place if u like certain flavors, but honestly it’s not really worth it
