This is a chain restaurant, but I was very pleased w the food and service of this location in Vallejo, Ca. My street tacos (carnitas) was hot, tender meat and delicious. The ladies behind the counter were so kind and nice.

DO NOT VISIT. This is my first one star review after almost 100 reviews. I ordered 1.5 lbs of Carnitas and the top looked great [about. 5lbs] and the remaining pound was not edible. I used my best Spanish (which is good not great) and the women were very rude and unhelpful. I was truly offended.

Rip off first they are real aggressive when ordering then they give me over half a pound of skin not carnitas meat I ordered 1 1/2 pounds of meat not skin and barley any meat

Stood in line for about 15 mins we were the first in line. The worker at cash register was so rude. We tried to give her our order after 5 mins of just standing there but she told us to wait as she was busy giving out orders. As soon as we got out of line and headed for the door she yelled out NEXT PERSON. Last time we will ever go there. We made our way to La Tapatia that had a cheaper price per pound on the carnitas and they were Amazing! The rice and beans were really yummy as well. Plus the customer service was great.

Absolutely the best carnitas! We ordered the 15lb group meal for an appreciation luncheon for our winery staff (production, cellars, winemaking, finance, and marketing). Our crew raved about the carnitas. The food was authentic and so flavorful. One thing to note when ordering. I ordered through the Door Dash Storefront link and did not know I was supposed to confirm my order with the restaurant. When I called 30 minutes prior to us picking up, they said that I hadn't confirmed but they would get the order processed and they had it ready by the time we got there to pick it up! Outstanding customer service. It is best to have a Spanish speaker call in. I also think calling the restaurant directly is a better way to order for a large pickup. This place came highly recommended from one of our employees and it did not disappoint! We loved it.
Bought a combo for 45$ included 2 lbs of carnitas and 2 sides of beans and rice and one sauce The place looks like its a empty place only a seating area and a soda fountain and a counter and a almost empty refrigerator The food was not great the carnitas didt really have flavor they were dry The beans were blended to watery nasty flavor The rice was good and sauce too Would i recommend that place probably not

I’ve been here twice and the food is A1, I got tacos the first time and a burrito the next and they did not disappoint. Tacos where a great size and the meat has great flavor. The burrito is also bomb af, tortilla was soft, nothing was burnt, they add avocado on the super which is really good. The meat also isn’t dry but juicy and flavorful. Service is good atmosphere doesn’t really matter when the food is this good.

Food is good but the service is too slow, the kitchen personel needs to be more faster serving orders, takes me about 50 min to get my food, when they have three gest at front of me.Dont give me wrong food is very good,
Split a super carnitas burrito with my boss because we’re not that hungry. This was 5 mins before closing. Thankfully they let us finish our food first before we were asked to leave. I’d say they mostly have earned the tagline “best carnitas in town”. To add to that, their salsa is pretty hot! Love it,Ps. No free chips. Although this is preferred imo. Less food waste if you asked me.
