I ordered here for to-go. The food was ok, but I wouldn’t really order from here again. The chicken chow mein was bland. The orange chicken was hard. Their mongolian beef was on the sweeter side and needed more spice to it. I did however like the salt and pepper fish, the crab meat wonton, and the deep fried wonton. Their and portions and prices are great too. Inside is quite small but we didn’t eat here as we ordered for pick up. We picked up our food around lunch time and no one was dining in at the time. There’s street parking outside as well as a lot next door.

We hadn't been here for many years after a bad experience with a new owner.
This was a completely different experience in a familiar place.
The food was exceptional!
The crispy eggplant was out of this world! Crispy and tasty from first to last bite.
The sweet and sour tofu was crunchy on the outside and velvety on the inside with a traditional sauce.
If you want a traditional Chinese restaurant experience I for one will now go back to China Wok.

I went through quite a few reviews just to confirm prior to ordering.
I ordered and was not happy with my meal
For whatever reason,
the noodles were extremely greasy, and the chicken was so cold I didn’t even have more than a bite due to fearing getting sick. Unfortunately, it’s not for me.

House fried rice was old and no flavor.sweet and sour pork was breaded then covered with sauce.House chow mein was awful with extra large noodles,I guess we're homemade/ hand made.Basically the food was awful.Said We could return but if they would have cooked it right with good flavor it wouldn't need to be returned.Do not buy here go to Schezuan at least their food is authentic. 🤮🤮😤😤
Dined in with my mom and my partner. There was a hair in the water and the food was cold. The sweet and sour chicken and the sweet and sour pork both tasted like old burnt oil. The chilis in the general tso chicken were hard and old. The “fried rice” was steamed rice with soy sauce. I told the server I didn’t want my food and he said no returns. The meal cost $64 and none of us ate. Two of us feel genuinely sick from just a few bites. You could not pay me to return to this establishment. They’ve fallen off and are no longer worth visiting.

I ordered through DoorDash.
I came down with a bad cold. The only thing I wanted to eat was Wor Wonton soup. Thanks, China Wok, the soup hit the spot. Now I feel a little better and I'm getting ready to go to sleep. Thank you again for the delicious soup.

The food here is was mediocre , but i've witness one of the workers sneezing over someones food , it was so disgusting that snot came out of the workers nose and landed on to the ground , the lady apologized to the elderly lady stating that she is not sick !!! They didn't offer her any new plate , the elderly didnt want the food , she ordered something fried rice and they charged her and she asked if she can get a refund for the last order and they told her no !! These people here are disgusting and ruthless!!!

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Contaminated Food Order
Dear China Wok Management,
I am writing to express my profound outrage and distress regarding a deeply disturbing incident involving an order placed at your establishment on July 15,2025 I placed an order for wonton soup and crab ragoons through Uber Eats, intending to provide comfort to my child, who is already suffering from a serious illness. What should have been a simple act of care turned into a horrifying experience that has left me both appalled and determined to seek justice.
Upon serving the soup to my child, we discovered, after a single bite, the unmistakable presence of legs and a shell within the food. After careful examination, it was clear that the foreign object was a cockroach. This discovery was not only revolting but also a direct violation of basic health and safety standards. I am utterly devastated that my sick child, already vulnerable, was exposed to such unsanitary conditions through your food.
For clarity, the meal was delivered directly to my home by an Uber Eats driver. I maintain a clean household, free of any pest issues, and have never encountered cockroaches in my home. The undeniable fact is that this contamination originated from your establishment, and I find it wholly unacceptable that such a grievous oversight could occur.
This incident is not only a breach of trust but also a serious health hazard, particularly for a child already battling an illness. I am resolute in my intent to escalate this matter to the fullest extent permitted by law, including reporting this violation to the appropriate health authorities and pursuing any necessary legal recourse to ensure accountability.
I demand an immediate explanation for how this contamination occurred, a formal apology, and a detailed account of the corrective measures your establishment will take to prevent such an egregious failure in the future. Additionally, I expect a compensation for the emotional distress and potential health risks inflicted upon my family.
I await your prompt response within a reasonable timeframe, e.g., 7 business days to address this matter with the seriousness it warrants. Failure to respond adequately will compel me to take further action, including involving local health inspectors and legal counsel.
My response
-update - Thank you for your response and your apology (lol) I understand your restaurant is regularly inspected by the health department but i encourage pest control services on the regular, as a small business owner myself i do understand how costly pest control services can be however the issue I experienced originated from the soup I ordered from your establishment. Regardless of how it occurred, this was deeply concerning. Since the order was prepared by your kitchen, I believe the responsibility lies with your team to address this matter directly, rather than redirecting me to Uber Eats, i will further adavance this matter.
