Service was fast and friendly. Food was ok. The honey walnut shrimp had to much batter. The chow mein lacked flavor. The tofu and vegetable soup was good. Prices were reasonable.

This was Our first time here. We ordered like always to start a wonton soup, and about four other plates, they brought out the soup and the rest of the plate right away which was overwhelming because the table are small and we didn’t get to fully enjoy the soup at the rest of the main meal was getting cold. The food taste was great and the reason of my low rating is due to me finding a long hair in one of our dishes ( honey walnut shrimp) when I mentioned it to the younger short lady she brought out what it appeared to be the head chef’s whom was very nice. I personally couldn’t eat anymore as the hair touch my mouth so I asked for the plate of 75% food left was still there. The short lady decided to not only pick the hair off the plate, placed it on the table and said ( it’s yours it’s from your beard ) I then plucked a few hairs from my beard to show that my hair were not only thick and black . She insisted that it was mine! The main chef kept speaking to her in mandarin to calm herself down! I had to walked out and as great patrons we still paid the $64 dollar bill minus the hair dish. When my family came out my smart four year old said that the short lady pointed at them and said a word in mandarin perhaps suggesting to GET OUT! My son doesn’t know lies or make up things of that sort! I will definitely will forever stay away from this place and it’s too bad because we did like it but her attitude towards their own mistake is unforgivable and her last act of pointing to get out to my family is unacceptable!

The people saying this place is better than China Cafe are out of their minds. I ordered the family dinner that comes with lemon chicken and happy family and wow. NOTHING had flavor. The foil wrapped chicken tastes like canned chicken molded into a ball. No seasoning AT ALL. It was tough and chewy and very disgusting, even my 15 month gagged when she tried it. The rice is horrible quality and very off putting. The lemon chicken was so disgusting, it looked like deep fried turds and the flavor was sour in a bad way. I found 3 moldy water chestnuts in the happy family dish. The prawns that came with the appetizer were very mushy. This is hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The soup that came with the meal had absolutely no flavor. Imagine being so CHEAP they don't even season with enough soy sauce and/or garlic???? I hope this place closes because I would be embarrassed if I were the owners. I am still in disbelief. GO TO CHINA CAFE IF YOU WANT REAL FOOD. It's the only Chinese restaurant downtown worth ordering from, I promise.

This was a mixed bag. They were very fast, but the food quality and recipe accuracy was lacking. If you like Ma Po Tofu/Bean Curd, please heed my warning and do not order it here. What I got did not resemble Ma Po Tofu at all. It had basically no spice (in spite of it being listed as hot and spicy on the menu) and did not contain any detectable fermented broad bean paste or szcheuan peppercorn (two critical ingredients that make Ma Po Tofu what it is). The sauce was a very bland, beige colored sauce with a few red pepper flakes, and it tasted faintly of sweet and sour sauce. I got a large portion hoping to eat some for lunch and some for dinner. Now I'm at home making my own sauce so I can rinse the remaining tofu off and remake it with the correct type of sauce. I think they might not get very many orders for it and didn't have the proper ingredients on hand and threw something together with what they had. The chow mein was standard takeout chow mein. No complaints there. I did not like that the broccoli beef had cinnamon and anise in the marinade. It's not really a standard ingredient for broccoli beef, so I feel this should have been noted on the menu. The beef was also quite tough and didn't seem like it was properly velveted.

Ordered via door dash. Szechuan Family dinner for 4 plus an order of tender greens/bok choy in garlic sauce. The family dinner came with potstickers. The menu said 6, but we only received 4. The potstickers were gross, super thick and doughy with pink mystery meat inside. I took a bite and said no thanks. The bok choy had a bug in it, which I discovered AFTER eating some....so obviously it wasn't washed well, if at all. Sweet & sour chicken was eh. Mongolian beef was eh. Kung pao chicken was eh. Some weird ass prawns were overcooked. Hot & sour soup wasn't great either. Steamed rice seemed old and dry AF. Won't order China Wok ever again. Pissed that we paid so much money for crap.

I ordered the salt & pepper spare ribs & chicken fried rice and let's say I'll never return again. Service was decent. Place is clean and seating is decent. But, the food is trash and that's all I'm going to say.
