$18 for two sides, rice and a small drink. That is ridiculous! Rice cost pennies! This is not a retro cafe in San Francisco. I would rather cook my own Filipino food than burn almost $20 on one meal. I can feed my whole family for that price. Not going back. That sucks.

Food here is very delicious and reasonably priced. I think the unique flavor is due to the Spanish and Chinese influence in the Philippines. The famous chicken "adobo" which is the national dish of the Philippines is served here. Adobo means marinated.Breakfast is hard to beat with fried egg on top of garlic fried rice and fried boneless milkfish or Chinese sausages. It comes with a small beef soup on the side. All for $6.

This is a Filipino point-point eatery. Just point at the food you want, I love this place, home cooked meals dine in or togo. Ask for soup with your meal and enjoy.

I ordered the two item plate with squid and sisig, also ordered tocino and longanisa on the side. I asked for some Bistig sauce over my garlic rice and although the sisig was not as well seasoned as I hoped and the squid used was actually the canned version, it was overall satisfactory. The tocino and longanisa could've been more caramelized as well, but the sauce over the garlic rice made up for it.

recently went to your store and used my debit card for the transaction. I was told my purchase cost $21.73, but when I looked at the register total, it stated $22.23. I questioned this of the clerk, and was told it was the fee to use my debit card. However, I looked around the register area, and there was no mention of a fee for the use of a debit/credit card. I asked why there was no sign, and the clerk looked absolutely clueless. She pointed to the next employee who was serving food, and he, too, looked clueless. While I have no problem paying the fee, it must be disclosed all transaction fees to the public! So meaning, that if a customer gives payment in other than cash, the fee must be disclosed. I mentioned to the clerk that neighbor, Valerio's bakery, has a sign that states a minimum of $10 for use of debit/credit card. Please note that I mentioned this to another employee a few months again, but apparently nothing was done about this. Management...take note! Post appropriate signs!!!!

This Filipino dine-in establishment serve dishes (80%) prepared from a couple days ago reheated if not sold the day it was cooked. I am surprised nobody has reported this to the health department of the city.

Overall experience: Friendly atmosphere and Filipino Food that hit the spot but there were some things to take note of. Time of day: We came around what seemed to be closing time because half the trays were empty. Restaurant: There are plenty of Tables and chairs inside- I did not see an outside seating area. You form a line at the counter, all The food is already cooked hot and ready - so take a peek at all of the dishes before you hop in line so you kinda know what to tell them when it's your turn. Food: Lechon - the meat was good, not too fatty of pieces but the parts with majority skin were a little too tough for me and were difficult to bite through. I personally like the crackly skin when the consistency is more like chicharon. Sisig - I would say this is not the traditional Sisig dish - technically it's just chopped up Lechon with nothing added. we didn't have any onions or taste citrus notes to this dish. The lechon was good but it's about expectations in this case. Pork adobo - pieces were juicy and tender and fall apart bite size pieces. Flavor was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Great over white jasmine rice. Would definitely order this dish again.
