This was a first for me. My daughter and grandchildren took me to Daikon for my very first Korean BBQ experience. I was not disappointed. The service was exceptional and the foods were very good. My granddaughter and grandson did the meat cooking. All I had to do was to eat and have a great time. And, a great time I certainly had. Just an overall exceptional experience! I will will go back!!!!!!@

We were a large party of 12. We did the Premium menu. It was a lot of food. But we made good time with cooking and eating. Service was quick with getting us more to grill and when we asked for a grill change, that happened quickly and seamlessly. We used our whole 2 hours but felt like everyone had more than enough to eat, including my football playing 15 yo boy who ate a whole serving bowl of rice by himself. And everything was DELICIOUS.
As a note, I cannot have MSG/yeast extract and the server was able to steer me away from the one dish (the appetizer dumplings) that had it. It's always nice when a restaurant can help you have a good experience with your family. ❤️
Dietary restrictions: MSG/yeast extract. They did a great job of steering me away from the one dish that contained it.

We were there for our anniversary and we were happy we could bring our kids the ban chan was a little more mild then our previous visit but all and all the food was great. Everyone was very kind and friendly. I am so happy Vallejo got a Ayce Korean spot

It’s taken me forever to actually try the first kbbq place in Vallejo and I think it was worth the wait! This was the old Black Angus and I’m glad they kept the original bull and the bar area. Service is great, the workers are very friendly and honest. The portions of the meat are on the smaller side but I think it’s fine because towards the end people tend to not finish as much and it doesn’t hurt having to order more. They have 2 options, premium for $34.99 and supreme for $42.99, I don’t think there’s that large of a difference for both. The sides are pretty good and a little authentic, and the meats are good, it’s nice and clean, modern, and if it’s someone’s birthday you can let the server know and they even can play a special song for the birthday person! I’m happy that we finally have a kbbq place in the Vallejo area. You can make a reservation and for larger groups you can’t get seated until everyone is there.

Had a fun bday dinner with my daughter 9/13. The food was amazing, especially the marinated proteins we chose. Lots of food for two ladies so come hungry. The service has to be complimented. Each staff member we encountered including the busses had a kind word or greeting. Spoke with the manager to compliment everything when he visited our table assisting the wait staff. My daughter and SIL returned this week for her bday 9/17. As I live alone, I would love a modified downsized menu for a single person to enjoy.

I have never been for a Korean BBQ experience, and as my first, it was amazing. The service here would have easily gotten a 6 out of 5. As a first time, figuring out what to order is challenging as you have to figure out portions, but oh my, sooo much food. Cooking at the table was great fun.

Been here a few times and I'm so happy Daikon came to town! They had a bit of a rough start, but most restos tend to need a bit to find their rhythm. The service is excellent, meat is delish, banchan yum ,atmosphere great! We'll keep coming as long as they keep delivering. Also, shout out to Charles for the top notch service!

Daikon Vallejo Korean Buffet. We shared the soft opening moment on 15th Nov. The pandemic and tipping dilemma can dampen the eating out experience; but I can say we lifted our guard and ventured into the Korean grilling experience. There is a 2 hour all you can eat experience so great idea to plan your choices appetizers, protein, sides. My party was two; we did two rounds, ordering the food was enough with Korean healthy side dishes one requirement is YOU pay for the amount of waste not eaten. The manager was a great fluence with customer service even our server Chris was great; checked in on our needs, refills, reordering as part of grilling all you can eat choices. The clock starts 2 hours after the order is placed with the server. More splendid experience is knowing your Korean dishes for grilling; timing the cooking makes an enjoyable or burnt experience. Definitely share the grilling otherwise it will be a resentful eating, takers and no givers. This is to cook or be cooked on the grill and learn quality food with healthy eating. Put thicker foods in the center/ thinner away and the ready to devour on the edge of the grill. Eat grilled stuff with chopstick pinch of side dish (Banchi) Balance the greasy that may come off grilling. Also clean the rich full flavor by eating the sides and healthy for guts. yes, it may be pricey but for cost for Health, Fresh ingredients, cooking and clean atmosphere, customer service is pluses worthy for the end price. Our food order appetizer: seafood shrimp in kimchi soup perfect for cold weather, crispy calamari, crispy chicken. The former was not cooked all the way but putting it on the grill fixed that issue all well. Protein: chicken chili, pork jowl, garlic butter prawns, spicy Bulgogi marinaded prime steak, rib fingers Side dishes: fish cake, assorted vegs, mushroom, Fish cakes is thin and lite very tasty vegs and mushrooms tastes much better grilled than raw. Healthy gastronomy is enough that you can get your blood work done the next day and still get a good bill of health., We should hashtag how many patrons have the cleanest empties including licking your plate. Suggest a seasonal soup or dish (for cold / warm weather) to warm up our Eating hearts? Plus one said to add we were so thrilled with the experience we got home and fell asleep to dreams for future experience at Daikon soon.
