Thank you all so much for helping me reach over 9 million views and getting me into the top 10% for business and restaurant reviewers in the country. If you'd like to see more, like, follow, and share. Here's the review:This place gave gave me so much nostalgia. It was a nice cafeteria style space. You can see into the kitchen as well as the waitresses station. They have lots of positive messages on the walls, and they remember your faces when you walk in.I could tell the people there have been coming for years.I ordered the peanut butter waffle and substituted the bananas for strawberries and no whipped cream. I had scrambled eggs with cheese and the veggie sausage since they had it, and Im allergic to pork. Otherwise, I would have asked them to just remove the meat from my order. To drink, I chose the hot chocolate and forgot to take the picture before I began drinking it. You missed out on the perfect whipped cream mountain she put on it for me, and the sprinkles made that hot chocolate moment, my happy place. ?The eggs and sausage came out first. They tasted like normal eggs and cheese. Nothing over the top, just comfort breakfast. The veggie sausage, I could tell, was the real thing when I passed my fork over the top. It had this nice crust that only veggie sausages have. It was well flavored for breakfast as well.At some point, my waffle came, and oh boy, was it big!!!! The peanut butter they use is a but sweet, so keep that in mind for those who may need to reduce their sugar intake. But paired with the strawberries and the hot syrup, it was ?! The waffle was freshly made to order and had those nice crispy parts on the sides. The waffle was able to hold up to the moisture of the toppings as well, which is always a bonus.A couple of things I noticed when people watching the staff is this:1. They all enjoy working there2. They dont wash their hands enough between touching the cash register and your food3. They dont have a drop plate under the drink dispenser and spill liquid on the floor, which is carpeted. I can only imagine the number of germs that spread. And seeing ine waitress pick something up off the floor and toss it out without washing her hands after, worried me.Improving these few things would make this place even better than it is. The staff were all friendly and helped each other. They communicate well and just need to wash their hands a little bit more often to keep germs from spreading. In the meantime, check out the images attached to my review to see what I had. And if you're looking for a small town cafateria vibe where people gather for the good vibes and breakfast that tastes like home, this is your spot. It's not fancy and over the top. It's home.? enjoy!Vegetarian options: Veggie sausage option, and you can swap out some things to make it how you want.Kid-friendliness: There were children here, so I am sure they have children's favorites ?

Well sadly today was Good Day Cafes 3rd strike for us. Used to live in town and frequented often. Now we only stop by maybe twice a year but the last three visits have completely turned us off this place. Service is slow but fine. Staff is always friendly, wait times are expected as it's a small place and seemingly always been popular. Unfortunately a mixture of drastic drop in food quality along with exaggerated prices have moved this to our another option list. I ordered the shrimp and cheesy grits special with eggs. Large portion of grits, two eggs and a table spoon of diced bacon with green onion. No cheese, 5 unseasoned shrimp, no butter, and grits were cold and undercooked. I asked for a side of shredded cheese and got about half a cup and a large dollop of butter. Grits were too cold to melt the cheese so I just doused it in hot sauce and friend to eat it. Halfway through I quit. I had also ordered a single pancake. Took a couple bites and it had raw batter in it still. Figured this was our last time there so asked for the check. They charged $10 for a single pancake! After seeing that we pointed out it was under cooked and had raw batter in it and it was removed from the bill. Used to really like this place and went just about every weekend, sad to see it fall.

This was the first time my wife and I were disappointed with the food we ordered. We had a club sandwich and a Ruben sandwich which was dry and over cooked. Not only are their prices to high, I don't agree with them adding a 10% gratuity for to go orders.

This was another great breakfast from Good Day. Portions, taste, and even temperature from a take out order was great. I usually request that my eggs are cooked soft but I forgot when ordering however they did a great job not over handling the eggs...Thank you. My husband, who swears he only wants home-cooked meals, said that I made a good choice!!! A day off, off to a great start

This was my first time coming to Good day Cafe. All I can say is that it was chef's kiss. Everything we ordered was fantastic and cooked exactly as we asked. Will we be back? You bet we will with anyone we can bring with us.

Horrible customer service. The website states they open at 7:30am. I walked in at 8:45 and an elderly man yelled at me saying they are not open. I was trying to ask a question since the website stated an earlier time and the man didn't listen just continued to yell. Clearly they need to update their operation times in google and work on how they talk to customers. Even on this app it states they are open.

We've been trying recommended restaurants around town for the last several months. This was okay but not special.

Brought my sister and mom to eat here for the first time and they really liked it! While we were they sang happy birthday to a little girl, super cute how they bring out a basket full of toys for children to pick one out.

Hands down this is the place to have breakfast! Can't wait to go back and try their lunch. Be prepare to wait, it's a popular place. This was our first time, went on a Saturday morning. Wait time was 20mins, so we went to the farmers market and bought vegetables, fruits and even oysters from Bodega Bay. Once I got the txt that our table was ready we headed back. Very quaint cafe, the place was packed. Once our waitress Remy very friendly came by to take our drink order, I said this is our first time here she said "Welcome!" I had ordered the the linguica and eggs(any style you like to prepare) you had your choice of potatoes, hash brown, or bacon fried rice. Toast, biscuit or cornbread. My husband ordered the Joe's scramble. Be prepare and come with an empty stomach because there not skimpy with portions! Definitely will be back!

Great local place for casual breakfast diner fare. I especially love their bacon fried rice, and I never fail to order them as a side for whatever breakfast platter I have a craving for that day. They also have a unique take on pancakes. You can have them as a regular pancake or have them thin like a crepe with crispy edges. My usual go-to platter will be their chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, which is usually nice and thick and made with pork sausage like how it's supposed to be. Highly recommended!

For the quality of food, the prices are absolutely unreasonable. I could get so much better for the same price in Richmond, Berkeley, etc. Y'all are out of your ever-loving minds for charging what you charge. I know times are hard but come on
