I had a great experience before so I took a chance to return to the restaurant that put a smile on my face.The flavor was excellent, but the meat was a bit tough. So that was my only disappointment. Staff was pleasant so I want to rate it much higher. The food seemed almost ready as soon as I sat down. I wasn't sure if it was what hadn't sold. I still think it had the best flavor ever. The place wasn't crowded, I guess the time of day made a difference. It was a little over $20.00.

Finally found a nice BBQ restaurant the family would enjoy. Food portions were great we had plenty of food for the family. Great customer service. The quality of food was spot on. Do not leave without having a cowboy cookie if you have room, maybe take a couple to go!

Gracie’s has some truly delicious meals! We ordered the sampler platter, and it was perfect for the three of us, more than enough food, with plenty of leftovers to take home. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The swamp juice was a fun and tasty surprise, and their homemade lemonade was refreshingly good. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hearty meal and great drinks!

If Cheers was a BBQ place that’s what this place felt like. Homey and welcoming place in downtown Vallejo. For Bay Area BBQ, Gracie’s holds its own with the rest, what makes its stand head and shoulders over the others is the value for your money and the great outdoor dinning area. That plus the parking makes it worth the drive for folks like myself who live down in Alameda County.

I really wanted to love this place but the meat should be the highlight of a BBQ restaurant and it was so dry. Between my friend and I, we ordered every meat on the menu. Most bordered inedible, especially the chicken. They weren't particularly warm either. The saving grace was the sides and the I'm assuming homemade BBQ sauce in the bottle at the table. The outdoor seating was nice but servers seem to forget about you. We'll try it one more time in case they were having an off day but I'm not excited about it.

I’m doing this for any other fellow Texan southern, they don’t have a pit master and you can taste that fact. The tri tip was tough, I was chewing for two minutes trying to eat a piece. And the chicken was needed bbq sauce, not in a couple the meat with some good sauce but in a the chicken was dry. Really dry. If you’re a southern who’s looking for a good place for bbq meats, I’m looking with you. The sides were fine, okay corn bread, and decent enough beans. Staff was kind and nice, and the set up of the restaurant is pretty.

First time enjoying Gracie’s after it being recommended for ages. The ambiance is quaint, inviting, casual and comfortable. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. The food was incredible and so reasonably priced! Can’t wait to bring more friends and family here.
