It was tasty food but don't be in a rush if you're going there to eat. It seems like one woman was doing most of the work (cooking, serving & cashiering). I really enjoyed the banana pudding cake!

Visited this place while on an anniversary trip with my husband. We found this place on Google Maps and drove from Napa Valley to try the food.

My husband ordered the smothered chicken, mac-n-cheese and greens. The smothered chicken gravy was a bit too salty for our taste. I ordered the fried pork chops, greens and yams. Unfornately, the chops were over cooked and dry. The yams and greens were tasty. Mac-n-cheese and cornbread was okay.

I was telling my husband I was hungry so he went on Google and typed in soul food and we found house of soul and we decided to go eat there . It smelled delicious parking was rite in front even though it's street parking we parked out front. We can smell the aroma as we entered the restaurant. Really nice clean atmosphere. My husband order the fried chicken and Mac & cheese with yams omg might I add to die for. I ordered the snapper with yams and Mac and cheese. HANDS...
