The food at this restaurant is very good and the prices are fair, the only bad thing about this visit because I have been many times was that the ceviche tasted bad as if it were spoiled. They discounted $10 for this dish that came with more things, quesabirririas and molcajetes very good

Rocking $2 taco night!! Check out the errata!! Jalapeno "Peepers??" Jeepers Creepers!! LOL When I tried to point the huge mistake to the manager, a rather tall man, he just poo pooed men and walked away!! HMMM!! Was I the first to point this out?

We were in Vallejo after visiting family and stumbled across this gem. TBH, based on the outside of the restaurant and the center it was in, my expectations were low. And so I learned yet again, you can't judge a book by it's cover. This place was awesome, immaculately clean, extremely friendly service and the sea food, oh my, some of the freshest I've had in a while. We had the raw oysters with the shrimp and fish ceviche. WOW!!! Amazingly fresh and so flavorful! Wasn't busy when we went and they went out of their way to take care of us. If I lived in the area, this would be a go to spot!!????????

The chili rellenos are so delicious! But the green sauce on them is even better than the red!

I have just arrived to live in the city of Vallejo, Ca. Exploring the area we found this place with my husband which we have already attended twice and what I ordered was delicious including the chips and salsas that are brought to the table as soon as you arrive and You sit down, everything is delicious, there is a wide variety of Mexican food and the staff are super attentive, not only the waiter who takes your table comes to ask you if you are coming or need anything else, but several of them make sure that You are taken care of, I really love the place, it is super comfortable, I personally recommend it. Regarding tips, I think you can leave the tip you want, not from the options that appear on the payment receipt, you can set when paying how much you want to leave, personally I always leave 20 percent of what I consume because I think that the service of the waiter deserves it because they make an effort to serve you.
Of course I make it clear that this is my way of thinking and not that it has to be anyone else's. Thank you Jalapeño and your staff for your attention.

We ordered some canitas buritos , with berly any meat at all, but lots of rice n beans , very disappointed taste less food. We wouldn't recommend this place to no one.

Down to earth place. Many locals, great food and good prices. Pica de gallo in a small cup for $7 is not worth it. Been there several times and will go back again! I recommend this restaurant.

They had vegan tacos, burritos, and nachos. We tried the tacos and nachos and thought they were really good. I’d definitely go back!

The vegan nachos were a good size for the price, but the tofu pastor can use a little more flavor, although the beans tasted amazing! Overall good & filling!! I am grateful they offer vegan options in Vallejo!!
