This is our “go to” for Hawaiian/Filipino cravings! Nothing fancy about the venue, but the food is outta this world!
When you walk in, you feel like you’re in one of the local island spots! Owner is really down to earth and friendly.
We really enjoy all of their “loco moco” variations; my favorite is the braised short rib loco moco! Sooo good! But again…any of the katsu and/or loco moco dishes you can’t go wrong with!
The Sisig fried rice is a bowl of comfort food! If they offered a large bowl serving I’d eat all that up too!!

The tenderness was soft but the sauce flavor was just ok. It was my first time trying the dish so could just be an off day.

Kehaulani's Cafe: A Flavorful Hawaiian Paradise
Our recent brunch at Kehaulani's Cafe was nothing short of a culinary adventure. This hidden gem in Vallejo ,CA truly captures the essence of Hawaiian cuisine.
The Loco Moco plate was a hearty and satisfying masterpiece, featuring braised ribs smothered in savory gravy, served over a bed of fluffy rice and two sunny-side-up eggs. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was simply mouthwatering. My wife's pork belly dish was equally impressive, with the tender, slow-cooked pork complementing the rich yolk of the over-easy egg.
To top off our meal, we indulged in the delicious "mal asados," which were freshly fried to order and served hot and crispy. These sweet treats were the perfect ending to our brunch experience.
Kehaulani's Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Hawaiian cuisine. The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and delectable food make it a truly special place.

My first visit to this shop oozing with Aloha vibes off of the I80 Tennessee Street exit in Vallejo. Was warmly greeted in the morning and ordered the very voluminous short rib loco moco. Wanted to order more, but my tummy was stuffed. Will have to come back and try the other menu items soon.

Live Music that was both unexpected and a fantastic. I would hire the band for my wedding! The food - YUMMY! We are definitely coming back. I hope they post their monthly calendar online, because the listed one for June looked amazing.

But the food did not disappoint. I got the Chicken Adobo Omlet. Filipinos just fry eggs differently where the edges are crispy. I didn’t know what to expect, but I looked it. All the flavors were so good. My man got the Crispy Pork Belly Lechon. After a recent trip to the Philippines he’s been in search for the best Lechon in The Bay. This one was definitely tops, but different. He looked so happy! ?
It was good. I would get that next.

The staff was great and super friendly. ??????

Tried this place for the first time. Took the drive from Fremont, and it was worth it. Went in the middle of the week late morning, so traffic was great. Was about a 45 minute drive. Was easy to find (right off the freeway). The service was friendly and fast. The food was great! Will have to come back to try other menu items ?
