Maggie's is a longstanding Vallejo cafe. Located a block off HWY 80 in a mostly residential area it mainly serves locals. \n(but Doordash and such may be changing that) \nSome changes kept me away... but I'm so close by I finally returned.\nThe Fall 2024 version seems a blast from it's far gone past (1980s for me) . And that's a good thing! Try the pancake special or hamburger special and get a no nonsense breakfast or lunch for working people! Nothing fancy...
Great place for breakfast. I had a 3 egg breakfast. Boring toast, but it's a diner, and the breakfast was perfectly cooked. My buddy had a burger, really substantial, and the fries were fantastic. Skin on, cooked to perfection. Decent portions, prompt friendly service, reasonable pricing. Will be back.
What a nice little restaurant to pop into. The service was friendly, restaurant was clean. Food was good. And the people who came in were friendly too.
