It was a very large and inviting setting. I like their beer selection; especially the fact that their staple beers don't include 10 different IPAs. The fact that each one of their beer names comes with a history that pays homage to Mare Island is very appealing to me as well. The story behind the 21sters was eye opening, and I am so pleased that a California Common / Steamer beers is one of their main staples while most microbreweries made it as a gimic when Anchor closed down.
I do wish more info was available about the beer itself. Ex: hops used, process for style of beer.
All in all, worth checking out and I'll be coming back again.
got fries for my kid. caught food server eating one before serving. not cool. ask him about it. said was testing to see if hot. and they were not. never eat there again. beer was ok
Awesome place, great beer. Good food.
It was great! First time there and the service was just as caring as the original place at the ferry building. The view is great. I was impressed. I remember 2016-17 when it was just a dream. It's a wonderful location. Great job everyone.
We had a small reception (15 person) for our wedding here. Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food to the drinks. Special shout out to Stephanie for being very helpful in helping us plan the event.
Would highly recommend Mare Island for any group events. The space we rented could host 50 people comfortably.
Best time to go six buckets Russian imperials back on tap
Mare Island Brewing is tucked away on the picturesque waterfront. It was my first time coming here, and it a fun surprise for anyone looking to just stretch their legs, see some amazing statues, and grab a quick bite and drink with a friend.
So come on down to the Vallejo wayerfront. The staff is wonderful, kind, and accommodating. Play some darts, pinball, or let the kids run outside while relaxing.
The food was decent but did not have flavor that we are accustomed to for these areas.
Although the staff was amazing and very friendly.
The beer was warm and the pork on the pulled pork nachos was very bland.
Dog friendly, good setup,

Great food
Beautiful local brewery with flavorful beers and wines. Many events and history to explore. Nice music and ambiance. Highly recommend!!
Great service, atmosphere and drinks but I just experienced the worst clam chowder in my life. Watered down like on purpose to a chicken noodle soup consistency with little to no seasoning and a vinegar kick. I am gonna have to go find something to eat after this.
After a morning photoshoot on Mare Island I found this DIAMOND!
I ordered the M.I.B.C. Burger Jr. & a Soft Pretzel with cheese sauce. The burger was amazing. The grilled onions were perfect. The fries were crispy. The pretzel was great with the cheese sauce, but the mustard they had, is a MUST try it's a honey mustard. If they had it for sale, I would have purchased a bottle.
There are two pinball machines, a foosball table and two dart boards. Plenty of seats inside and outside. There was also a large projector with sports playing.
One of the best Breweries I been too right on the waterfront at Mare Island built in one the historical buildings with plenty of room to roam around excellent customer service with a great menu if you’re hungry for something to eat I recommend taking a walk around the neighborhood after you have your fill beautiful historical buildings to look at with a wonderful park close by
